Very happy I got to support this small business! If I lived in the area I would come regularly and use their reading room. Prices were reasonable, especially for the drink of the day!

Amazing people. Gave a lot of time to recommend great places to see around hotchkiss!

They were all so nice and so funny! The coffee and sandwich was good too. Such a cute place, do recommend stopping by while you’re in town. :))

Miss the old very friendly owners!!!! If you sit in your car in the parking lot fir more than a minute the owner comes out to warn you this is HIS parking lot, in otherwords the three businesses he is part of sharing the lot with are irrelevant. And today I bought a pastry to enjoy on the patio and check rmails, i asked for the wifi password. Their response was “we are not giving it out”. Ill never go back

Although we can find a million reasons to disagree with one another, Coaltrain coffee will always be something that we can agree on. The coffee served is locally roasted right here in the North Fork Valley. Most of the pastries and goodies that are sold here are homemade and are recipes that took a lot of time to perfect. With that being said, The Coaltrain has been around for a while now and the shop, along with the owner and staff have all become a big part of our lives. So, when you ask a local where to get a cup of coffee and they recommend Rhonda at the Coaltrain, now you know why. (Remember, a lot of time and love went into the coffee and muffin that you bought today.)

We had a very good breakfast with great coffee. The owner give us some pointers on what to see and where to ride. A nice clean fresh atmosphere.

Late and English muffin sandwich were great. Very friendly staff and kindly answered my questions about the town.
