Fun coffee shop with a great selection of mochas, breakfast food, and gifts

Solid smoothie with berries, peanut butter, and spinach. Tasted like a yummy PB & J. Delish oat latte and breakfast burrito (I got the vegan one with curried veg). Awesome edgy/funny gifts. Friendly, sweet folks. All around beautiful vibe.

Real cool, chill staff who are all pretty engaging and chipper. Sometimes you walk in a coffee shop and you get the obligatory hum-drum "Hi, what can I get you?" Nothing wrong with this, per se. But the Octopus team on the day I was there, a Monday even, they were super friendly and matched my level of conversational gusto. Had I been less chatty, my guess is they still would have been equally awesomely personable, just less chatty (to match me). I think that's pretty cool!
Oh, and my Americano was just lovely. Thanks, Octopus Coffee Peepz. I will always make you my coffee shop when I am in town THURSDAYS thru Mondays (I corrected days after seeing response with correct CLOSED days). :o)

Octopus Coffee is a great place to start your morning. My party ordered a Cuban cafe breve and an extra large Earl Grey tea. The prices are roughly comparable to Starbucks, but at Octopus, you definitely don't feel like just a number.
The cafe itself wasn't super busy, which was nice, and it felt very cozy with a good atmosphere.
The staff was engaging and very friendly, and made us feel right at home. They worked to make sure they understood exactly what we wanted.
The coffee (a Cuban cafe breve) was nice and strong, but also sweet with the caramel tone that comes from brown sugar, and with the half & half it was like heaven in a cup. I may have tried a sip. ;)
The tea was great because they offer an extra large size, which is quite substantial (see picture). So I got a lot of Earl Grey for my buck, which is something I like. They also had milk options available if you don't want half & half in your tea.
Glad we visited this independent coffee shop!

Josh was awesome. I came in a little grumpy because I wandered into town on festival weekend. I had no idea what that meant coming into it and had little sleep due to crazy people screaming all night long. He got me hooked up with much needed breakfast and coffee. Considering I’m gluten-free he was able to provide me a few options and the spicy cream cheese is amazing.

quirky and eclectic coffee shop with lots of options! they've got breakfast and lunch along with pastries. I got an iced coffee and they have coffee ice cubes (love that), but they have tons of other drinks. I went on a Monday morning and it wasn't too busy but apparently it gets pretty busy on the weekends so you can order ahead online. workers were super friendly, inviting and attentive. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!

Fun little coffee shop with nick knacks and food for just about everyone. Breakfast burritos, sandwiches, pastries, and even gluten free options! Coffee is delicious, food is great, and staff is super friendly 😄

Amazing ! Ordered online and picked up at the window. Was ready in 5 ish minutes. Friendly service with a smile. My picture is a Mexican Mocha and the Hot Mess Wrap. Very very yummy !!! Will be back when we are near one again.

What a way to start your morning! Friendly, happy greeting. Awesome breakfast sandwich (I Love Bacon with freshly roasted Jalepeno schmear), tasty lemon blueberry bread and super tasting cappuccino. Add to that humorous little gifts for sale. Don't miss this place.

Spending your money here is a losing proposition! I believe that an establishment’s going for counter-culture cool and ending up freakish doesn’t earn counter culture points. Octopus Coffee on Horizon Dr. in Grand Junction, Colorado advertises as a cute and homey spot for fresh food and a great cup of joe. Unfortunately, it is dirty and cramped inside and their food display case was almost empty! They have candles and other items for sale that are not kid / family appropriate including an obvious sign on the wall mocking God that reads, “God was my Copilot until we crashed and I ate him” (see photo.) Lots of better options, recommend steering clear of this one.
