We're from out of town and we made it here by accident, sort of, and I'm very thankful to the universe that we did! Finding parking in downtown Glenwood Springs can be tricky, but on our quest for morning coffee we found a primo parking spot right in front of their shop. Originally we were headed to a cafe around the corner but stopped in here instead. Excellent choice!
The baristas were warm and welcoming, and patient with us out-of-towners. When asked for recommendations for a drink that included their new ingredient offering, lavender syrup, the person who helped me was quick to offer some options and I waited excitedly for my lavender mocha. IT WAS FANTASTIC! Expertly crafted, topped with whipped cream, and very scrumptious!!
We will be back in the morning, and every other trip to Glenwood Springs!

Day 1: walked up to the counter with my 2 small dogs on leashes (they are permitted to stay at the Hotel Denver & the coffee shop is in the lobby). Nice gal said dogs were not allowed, could we please wait in the hallway. No problem. Day 2: stood in the hallway with the dogs. Different, crabby woman ignored me for 7-8 minutes, glancing at me occasionally & then looking away. When she realized I wasn’t leaving, she looked up & said “dogs aren’t allowed in here.” I said “I know. That’s why I’m standing in the hall, waiting to place my order.” She grouchily took my order & flipped the screen towards me saying “follow the prompts.” Then turned her back to me. WORST customer service EVER!!!!! I’m a nurse on my first vacation after 18 months of Covid, working four or five 12-hour shifts per week. Instead of having a sign out front telling the customers to “bee nice”, why don’t YOU try a little compassion & basic customer service?

Great place, coffee is good and you know how I'm with coffee, pastries ok and Yogurt Parfait was fresh and yummy, there is this girl lovely that works there, she has a lot of tattoos, quite thin, she is very special, she warned me about not arguing with her because she was the one preparing my food, I guess she was having a rough day, hope she is doing great!!!

Coffee isn’t tasty, and the two women who were serving us were not friendly. Extremely rude, actually. One woman was mopping the lobby and looked upset that we walked in, and didn’t move or hurry in any type of way to offer us a seat. Terrible customer service. looks common in this town.

I called in to order a Togo but didn't get there for over an hour they made me all new sandwiches and gave the old ones away , the sandwiches were absolutely delicious and the iced vanilla latte with oat milk and decaf was the best coffee I have had this place is highly recommend and I'll be back tomorrow morning thank you.

Cute historic area location, attached to the Hotel Denver. Chill atmosphere, the two baristas were jamming out to 80's music singing and dancing while working. Yes queens, work it to Madonna! Had one of the best mochas I've ever had and the breakfast sandwich was very good.

Honestly this place use to be one of my favorites! They have dank food and pretty reasonably priced.
My boyfriend and I loved going there to get their bagel sandwiches. But we noticed that recently for the past 5 times we’ve been there, 4 out of the 5 times they got our order wrong and didn’t put the extra toppings that we payed for on there. First couple times wasn’t a big deal, but it kept happening! It just sucks when you don’t get what you ask for. I feel part of it has to do with the fact that whoever is running the register likes to try and help everyone at once. Not a bad thing, but y’all are getting orders wrong because of it. It’s frustrating when the lady checking you out is talking to people behind you taking orders while also trying to run your card. Other times they get so confused hand us our food and we have to tell them we haven’t even paid yet.
Also can Glenwood breakfast companies get something other than Bonfire coffee!?!?!? Awesome that we support local businesses but I really don’t understand why everyone’s so obsessed with that dirt water. It’s horrid.

This is a great little place. I went there this morning for a breakfast croissant sandwich. It was really good. The employees were also very friendly and helpful. Ya gotta check it out!

I was a little wary to go here with all the negative reviews but I enjoyed the coffee and service at River Blend. Both were very good, making this a worthwhile stop in GWS!

Went there a few weeks ago for a quick breakfast. The coffee was a little bit watery and burnt but the breakfast bagel we got was okay and filling.
