Went to this place for breakfast, and it was literally the best place I’ve ever been to for breakfast. The eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly. The grits were creamy, and the food was hot and served. Highly recommend it.

Delicious breakfast, and great atmosphere. We sat at the counter and enjoyed an AMAZING breakfast on a Sunday morning. THEE BEST Corned Beef Hash, I've EVER had! We will be back!

I've passed this place so many times and seen a huge crowd waiting outside. This morning, we were up early enough that there wasn't a crowd yet, so we decided to give it a try. Great breakfast. I see why there's always a huge crowd.

We recently revisited The Universal after a few years off and it's still one of the best brunches around. The only reason we stopped going before was because there is usually a decent wait. We discovered they now have an online waitlist and now my husband is willing to go again. I'm a big fan of their Corn Bread Rancheros and my husband loves that he can get a more "standard" breakfast with The Universal dish with eggs, meat and really creamy grits! They had a really tasty jam that they came with his toast, be sure to try it!

So delicious. I got the veggie hash with a side of bacon and he got the biscuits and gravy. So much flavor and the portion sizes are perfect.

I really liked the coffee. I split a Custard Toast and some grits with veggie sausage & poached eggs. The grits were good. It was actually my first time trying grits and I guess I will try them again someday.
The custard toast was a religious experience. I have thought about it every day since I got it. I will be forever under its spell...
Also, the staff were very gracious in letting us finish our cribbage game at the bar. LOVE U!

Great for groups of 4 or less. They are not set up to take 6+ The food is incredible as is the service. We were amazed at how quickly the food came out after ordering

One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. So much good flavor and fresh ingredients.
We had a half serving of biscuits and gravy with 2 poached eggs, the side of steak bites, and the chipotle breakfast sandwich. Everything was amazing. Spicy and flavorful. Highly recommend.
Service was lovely and the lattes were good as well! Worth a visit!

Great restaurant serving breakfast all day. Phenomenal specials with a variety of gluten free and vegan options. Be sure to call ahead and get on the wait list.

What a fabulous brunch spot! Inconspicuous location right on 38th Ave, and some of the best scrambles we've had in Denver. The wild boar scramble was 🤤

Bonus - lots of gluten free options, including some GIANT specialty pancakes that are totally worth the price.
