It's been there for 35 years, and I hope it stays for another 35. Time seems to have slowed down a bit there. A rural diner, but somehow - in downtown Denver! You don't need to drive to the middle of nowhere to experience it. Great atmosphere, great food, and they do have coffee in a French press for your caffeine fix.

with a short staff and lots of ppl coming in they did AMAZING. came in from Dallas and walked here. its quaint and homely. The food was worth waiting for and portions outstanding. Great service all around.

Always a delicious meal! Nice variety of options on the menu. Quality ingredients and preparation.

This place is great! I checked the reviews before we came, and hesitated. We have two girls (eight and four) so naturally felt if it wasn't kid friendly it would be a bad choice. Not so! They were really sweet with our girls. The food was great and the service very friendly. I highly recommend Dozens!

Mediocre food and an uncomfortable waitress. It’s definitely NOT terrible, but just about any breakfast place I’ve been to in this area has been better than this in literally every way

please note the rude, unhelpful, and dismissive response from the owner. Clearly when a customer has an issue the owner will just tell you you’re having a bad day. I’m sorry you don’t like my opinion. The waitress made several offensive comments to me about looking older than I actually am, which is of course very rude. She then criticized my order of extra bacon and asked me what I’m planning on doing with it. I chose to say uncomfortable because every interaction she had with our table made us uncomfortable. I wasn’t being unreasonable about this, but I’m reducing another star for the owners inflammatory response. Ridiculous.

Again, there are far too many other amazing restaurants with better food, friendlier staff, and owners with professionalism to bother coming to this one.

This is a fun, cozy and welcoming place next to the DAM. Very convenient. My veggie eggs bene was great, nut served over a pastry puff or something, not an english muffin as usual. Others all enjoyed their breakfast, and or lunch items. Coffee was ok. Prices were very reasonable for downtown area. I would certainly go back.

This place is a Treasure! Witty Menu. Excellent Staff. Locally Owned and Loved. And the food is awesome! Truly, it tops the majority of great spots such as snooze. Few places in Colorado still have the feel of A Colorado home such as this.

Been here a few times in the past month. Probably will not be going back. I am not fond of the regular coffee...too weak and not very hot, like it has been sitting around for a long time (and last time I was there nobody came back to give me a refill or asked if i needed anything). My bacon was always cold (the sausage was better). The english muffins were always cold. The eggs are sometimes hot...sometimes cold. The food is just OK.

Well, that is a great response from the owner! I just moved back into the neighborhood. I was excited to have a place close for breakfast. The first time was just ok, I give it another chance, 2nd time was just ok, I give it another chance try something differnt. 3rd time was not as good, 4th time was the least pleasant experience. Now, I get called a fake review? Well, thank you! I stand by what I posted above, but I will change the "probably" to just be: not going back.

The food here is amazing! I have worked two blocks away for the last nine years and it is still my favorite spot in the neighborhood. Everything on the menu is delicious, you can’t go wrong!

Great atmosphere and even better food. Cannot recommend enough. If you get a chance do stop in for some breakfast.
