As a fine dining Chef I’m usually really critical about dining out . This however was not the case this morning. Amazing service and amazing food . Highly recommend !!! I Will definitely return . The eggs were flawless ,and the fresh orange juice was on point .
The best home made breakfast food you'll find in Denver! I love the Telluride and my wife is addicted to the How The West Was Won. Wife says its the best biscuits and gravy she's ever had!
This is what diners all aim to be, but I have yet to find another who is as wildly punny with the menu options. The food is phenomenal, the coffee strong and robust, and we got a little side of apple butter with everything, which is one of those rare times when you eat the side of toast/biscuit before hitting the rest of the meal because that apple butter is just so good
Dozens Owner - if your team needs employment while you’re temporarily closed. Please contact me! I work for a large Restaurant Group in Denver - we have 10+ restaurants and would love to help get your team work during this tragic time.
It is a great breakfast place. Dozens is in an old house and they kept that ambiance. There are many options throughout the house and outside for dining areas depending on need or desire. The waitstaff was very friendly and answered all our questions candidly and made sure our coffee (awesome flavor) cups were always full. The menu had a nice variety of breakfast options and the food was made fresh from fresh ingredients. Even though we do not live in Denver we will make all our breakfast stops here.
After a long time, had a good brunch in here. They had some good choices and I had a scrambled egg with chicken and hollandaise sauce. It was pretty good 😊
The portions were good and moderately priced. The freshly squeezed orange juice was pretty good. This place may not wow you buy should be a satisfying experience for a brunch.
I visited this place for breakfast Wednesday March 11th. I had one of the "Not an omlette" platters. Not a bad place to have breakfast, especially if you have diabetes or some other reason to want your food to lack seasoning. I love a nicely seasoned omelets so I am less likely to revisit. However, the server was nice and attentive.
The response from the owner stating this is a fake review should really spend more time improving the taste of the food being served instead of down playing the reviews. Yes I visited this place the week of spring break, with this response.... NEVER Again! And I will now inform every person that I know visiting the city to avoid this place. Nothing is worse than a person in business that does not know how to maintain professionalism at all times.
And yes, I can post the charge to my account that can prove this is a real review.
I love Dozens!!! It is truly an all time Denver staple with excellent food and an amazing staff. Your delicious meal comes out super fast and your locally roasted coffee never runs dry. I've been coming here for 20 yrs and it's still one of my favorite breakfast/lunch spots. Several of our friends that visit from out of town have Dozens on their must go to list every time they visit. These dear people are great and really know what they are doing here!
Delicious! My grandma loves Dozens, and I can see why. Everyone greeted her by name and checked on her several times. The food we had was fresh and prepared perfectly, the parking was easy, and it isn't too loud inside which was nice.
Our ladies group picked the wrong day to meet for lunch today. There was no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan, it was 92 degrees at 11 am outside and about the same inside. The hostess did seat us in the "cooler room". The food was ok, my omelette was fine but my potatoes were cold and the english muffin was tough and not eatable. Our server was not happy to be there, she was complaining about the heat, was sweating and fanning herself whenever we saw her, she didn't check on us more than 1 time and when I asked for an iced tea, she never brought it. After we ate we had to leave, it was unbearably hot and uncomfortable. If customers can't enjoy their meal and the servers can't serve us properly because the "swamp cooler" is being fixed, maybe they shouldn't open. We all have enjoyed Dozens at other locations but we won't be coming back to this one.
