Kairos Coffee House

Adorable place hidden away, nice and helpful baristas with talent and taste for good coffee. Perfect atmosphere for homework, group work, and small social groups.

Great local place. Their coffee is amazing, employees are friendly, and the actual location is super nice too. I’ve always been able to get a seat, access an outlet and use the wifi. 👍👍

I'm not going to get dressed to make something I can make at home if all I want is a good coffee. When I look for a café, I'm typically looking for an ambiance that ties with a coffee that is trying to keep me there.

Kairos offers that, even while under some construction. Walking into what appears to be an older conference center, or just an addendum to YWAM, this little(big?) Cafe keeps on keeping on. Offering the typical coffee options, plus cortado, scones, croissants, and breakfast sandwiches, they also offer some unique coffee styles.

Right now, that is the Maple Raf (think Ukrainian Latte).
An excellent kick into fall, and a reminder how much I've missed maple.

The atmosphere is wood, leather, and a dark ambiance. While I sipped and dined, I studied. I felt comfortable enough to stay for 4 hours, and enjoy some lunch too. A wonderful pesto spread caprese panini was just what I needed after fatiguing my mind with kanji.

Conversation with hosts was bright, cheerful, and reminiscent of my travels abroad.

I will definitely be bringing friends and loved ones.

This is a comfy quiet spacious and unpretentious place with reasonable prices and cheerful service.

The service is decent. The cappuccino I got was not integrated and a little too hot. The flavor of the beans actually isn’t too bad - however the whole atmosphere and vibe is pretty wack. If you’re wanting a third wave coffee shop with a good aesthetic, this is not the place for you.

Great meeting place in a great location that is easy to get to. Their coffees and teas are excellent. I also love that you can always find seating not matter how busy they are. The staff is always really friendly. You can always find somewhere to plug in your laptop too which is really convenient.

Visiting Colorado Springs for the first time and saw that this place had awesome reviews so I decided to check it out. I very rarely leave reviews anywhere but I just have to say the customer service at Kairo’s is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced! I ordered the guacamole croissant without bacon and I overheard one of the employees reminding the cook to make it on a separate pan so that it’ll be Halal for me. I was so touched by how considerate they were especially since I didn’t even ask for that...the definition of going above and beyond!!

Everyone was so incredibly friendly and genuine that I ended up coming two more times in a span of 3 days. And everything I got was delicious, which was just icing on the cake. Highly recommend!

Googling "coffee near me" wherever I happen to be first thing in the morning takes me away from the uniform drinks of the McDonald's of global coffee and back to the independent coffee shops and cafes that first introduced me to lattes and mochas in the early 1990s long before a certain Seattle chain ended up on every corner worldwide. For a mocha with a $1 tip, this was a very excellent pick and exactly the kind of place I'd spend my money every day if I lived in Colorado Springs. Delicious and outstanding interior for light chatter,meetings, or working.

This place is absolutely the best atmosphere I have seen in any coffee shop. They have a great mission and fantastic food and coffee!
