We love to try local coffee shops. Unfortunately this one missed the mark. Service was good, and the danish was good. Both mine and my husband's coffees tasted burned. And they were extremely thick and sweet. The place looks a bit run down, my cup had a big chip on top. It just wasn't a comfy, welcoming place. We ate the danish and left most of the coffee.

The quiche and tea I had were both really good. The outside seating was great to have views of the mountains. The vibes inside were a little…off? Hard to say but it felt better being outside. Overall a good experience still.

this place is right off the busy road of academy. it’s very spacious and has a variety of different types of seating (both outside and inside). they even have a private room for big meetings. i stayed here for roughly 4 hours and no one complained, and there was enough seating for other customers, even when the shop was at its busiest. the customer service was average. i ordered a medium americano with pumpkin pie spice and it was so-so. it was about 4.80. tasted like the cup of coffee i make at home, didn’t really taste the pumpkin-ness, but it wasn’t bad. when she was making it, she asked if i wanted room for cream and i said sure just because i like adding my own cream. then she hands it to me and says “i added cream” just something i didn’t prepare for. they give also ordered an egg croissant sandwich with spinach and swiss cheese. it was kind of bland and i could’ve made it better at home.
this place does not have music. they have a small book shelf for “take a book, leave a book” and games that you can use.
overall this place is great for if you are wanting pastries (sweet breads, croissants, danishes, cinnamon rolls, and cake) or delicious burritos.
i’d probably go somewhere else tho if i want a smooth cup of coffee. i might come back to try their lattes. i didn’t get one this time tho because they were so expensive (5.15 plus another .99 for added flavor).

their lattes are so nice. probably one of the best i’ve had in colorado springs. the roast was sweet and smooth. they’ve really upped their game. quiche was okay, probably won’t get it again as the smell was kind…off-pudding. their cinnamon rolls, though, very good, very good 👌👌

First thing to know: THE WATER. Hits like no other. Thirsty? Come to this Pikes Perk. Not feeling coffee? Come refresh your palette with the complimentary water.
Now the coffee: I got an iced latte. The espresso is smooth and not bitter. Great flavor.
We also came on a Saturday morning and saw the blue grass band playing! Very pleasant surprise!

Cozy atmosphere with spacious seating inside and out on the patio. A plentiful display of freshly made brunch items and a unique variety of drinks are competitively priced at the counter. Friendly service with attention to detail and time awareness.

My favorite coffee shop on the north side! I work on this end of the city so I always stop in here when I can. The atmosphere inside is wonderful with nice open windows, plants and art on the walls, and plenty of comfy, open seating. The service is always outstanding and the drinks and food are always tasty! Prices can be a little steep but you get what you pay for. Stop by if you can! You won't be sorry

My wife and I are here enjoying coffee and muffins at their regular/periodic Saturday morning Bluegrass Music performance. Today there are 20 local musicians playing guitar, fiddle, banjo, bass, and mandolin. Since it's early December there are some Christmas songs mixed in.
The seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is cozy.

Very nice location, very nice staff. I ordered a lavender lemonade, it was good. The club sandwich was very generic. Also tried the club salad, it was lunch meat and wilted lettuce with one quarter of a yellow avocado. Very dissatisfied not to mention that I spent 35$ on this meal. I don't recommend.

Super cute place, lots of room and they have games and books. Coffee was sort of like truck stop coffee, even tho I got syrups and creamer, couldn't really taste it. Paid 8.50 for avocado toast that came with bacon and an egg - egg is three thin slices of a hard boiled egg and when I asked if the avocado toast just no longer comes with bacon, she said "yeah I guess he forgot, it got crazy for us" ...??? No price adjustment, apology, nothing. Not impressed, probably won't give it another try.

Im.not to happy with this establishment as for me there are better coffee shops. Twice I have been in and tried to pay with a credit card and there was a malfunction. Both my wife and I looked up our account and there was plenty of money in there. The coffee was so so and there could be improvements made in the hew business transition. Lastly, they close at 6 although it is listed till 9:00 pm. I would have like to have known that as many business' don't post their changing in hours.
Im.not going back there as there are better options for me.
