La Francaise

Disappointed. The pastries look good, but steer away from the crepes. My savoury crepe was made with the wrong batter instead of buckwheat as promised on the menu. Then, it came undercooked anyway. I'd say the only french thing about this crepe was the way it was folded. Undercooked crêpe in photo.

This is one of the most charming and authentic places in Breckenridge. Owned and operated by a French family recently immigrated. The chef is a lifetime trained French Chef. He makes beautiful creations for his guests and delights in complements. The daughter operates the bakery next door. It can't get any better. Food is par excellence. Genuine French dishes from various regions of France and items change regularly. Good for the food and atmosphere and practice your french. The Bistrot is small and cozy (very French). Definitely make a reservation.

Friendly spot for some French spoilings. Definitely need to indulge more when it’s cold outside! Staff are friendly and helpful when figuring out what to have!

This place is a must stop if you’re in Breckenridge. Everything is authentic, and reminded me of being back in Paris.
Every pastry we had was delicious, so much so that we had to stop by again that afternoon for some patisserie!
For breakfast, lunch, snack or dessert, you won’t be disappointed.

I haven't been to France yet but I've eaten many pastries at many bakeries over the years, and La Francaise is the most consistently excellent of all the bakeries I've visited. Friendly staff, good service, and indoor/outdoor seating are a bonus.

Excellent local breakfast spot with coffee, baked goods, egg options, and good service.
The French flair is nice and the food is good, though it's not truly as good as those in France (what is though?). The river patio is nice and the ambiance is very European.
We've been going here since...2014 or 2015 and will definitely be back again soon!

Tasty food that makes me feel like I'm back in Paris. The Pain Au Chocolat were great, the royal frappes were lovely, the Nutella crepe was gorgeously beautiful, the macarons were yummy, and the strawberry tart was perfection. We all said "Ahhhh!" and if we were in France it would likely have been, yep you guessed it, Oooo lala!

We finally took time to have a breakfast sandwich on our last day…..we’ll that was dumb. Absolutely delicious!!

Everything is so amazing! My favorite is the chocolate almond croissant.

La Francaise is an authentic French cafe/bakery. Over a five day trip to Breckenridge I visited three times. It’s that good. All of the baked goods are great and my family loved the croissant, the almond croissant, the apple croissant, and the pain au chocolat. I came for lunch one day and had a savory crepe and croque madame. When the croque madame came out it elicited gasps of delight from some of the other patrons eating nearby. Visually stunning and so, so tasty.

La Francaise gets my highest recommendation. It’s honestly like being in Paris.
