We stopped here 2 out of 3 days in Breckenridge—where do I even begin? The croissants, the pastries, the savory breakfast offerings, the coffee…everything was melt in your mouth deliciousness. Highly recommend!

Best crepe I’ve ever had! The patisserie lemon with the fresh strawberries was out of this world. Croissants are baked perfectly and the flavor is outstanding.

Tried the mushroom, spinach, goat cheese omelette in a croissant. It was decent.
The space inside is quite small. There are three tables for 3-4 people, and then several tables for 1-2 people along the wall to your right. The walkway next to those tables is so narrow, so it could be uncomfortable if employees or other people pass by. However, the owner or an employee had their things taking up two tables, so it didn’t seem welcome for customers to sit over there.

This is our second visit and we love it! Again, we had to get the savory buckwheat crepe, la paysanne. Delicious! Their sweet crepes are amazing as is their sour dough bread, cakes and pastries. Today we tried the fruit tart and the Versailles chocolate. More please!! We’ll be back again and again.

We ordered online for a pastry bar the next morning. They were extremely accommodating and the pastries were TO DIE FOR! AMAZING. The lemon tart was my favorite. This will be a normal stop while in Breck moving forward.

The pastry was very good, but the sandwiches were not. The veg panini was soggy and had loads of cheese with few vegetables. The L'Italien was basically a Subway sandwich. If we ever return we will stick to the pastry.
Update: we returned to this Cafe to buy some pastries and give it another try. As some others mentioned, the beignet's cream was sour rather than sweet and not very authentic. Worse though, was that after we paid the owner rudely said, "Hope it's better than Subway". This would have been a good opportunity to make things right since we were giving the place another try, but she rather chose snark. Even worse is that her comment embarrassed my 12 year old daughter who worried the rest of the walk that she insulted the owner by remarking about the quality of the sandwich to me. We will never return to this Cafe and reducing stars from 3 to 1. We had very good food and service at Cool River Coffee House. I recommend going there instead.

We got a chocolate almond crossiant, a paradise pastry and my friends got an opera cake and a quiche. The portions were big and everything tasted amazing. I LOVED the chocolate almond crossiant.

Lovely spot in the middle of breck to get your taste buds hyped to hit the slopes! Everything was delicious and so fresh

If I could rate ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, I would. The French Bakery brings a taste of the Champs-Élysées to Breckinridge.
We were too anxious so we ate most before I took this pic of the crepe and almond croissant. Both were amazing!
