I had a great first time being here . Whenever we come back to visit Colorado I will definitely come back to the bean and cream. We got some milkshakes that's were great and the perfect mix of thickness and cremyness .
Plus we all were greeted by deuce upon entering the establishment, which was another added bonus. Deuce is the owners dog who is perfectly trained and quite friendly. I would recommend this establishment to anyone visiting the casinos !!

This place is so cute and they have the best breakfast sandwiches!

I come here at least once a week, sometimes 2,3,4 days in a row. I get a point of birthday cake ice cream every time with a full sized order of biscuits & gravy. Once they were out of the biscuits & gravy… I got the Rueben sandwich instead & it was amazing. 🤯😮💨🥹🤤

Huge portions, super tasty ice cream. Lots of coffee options and everything tastes great. Very polite and professional staff.

Food was okay but one of the employees was rather rude to my friend for the staff's own fault. We had ordered 2 sandwiches before it got decently busy and while we were waiting a good 20 or so minutes, my friend went up to see if the food was ready and there was one sandwich ready so he asked if it was his. The employee (don't know names) rudely said "Yes we called it like 30 minutes ago...". That was only the first half... Waited another 10 minutes for my sandwich which was a popular choice Sunday morning and 2 people who had ordered AFTER us had taken what should have been my order and my friend again asked when my sandwich would be ready since people took it before their turn and the same employee rudely snapped and said it wasn't her fault other people took the sandwich and it would be out when it was done...
You guys need a name or number system or something because being busy and just letting people take things out of order doesn't bring back business. I'd fix that if I were you. We were ready to enjoy a quaint little breakfast but that employee made us not want to return for something they could easily fix...

I've been coming here quite a while and am a local. This morning I called in an order of biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs for pickup. Got there about 10 mins later and my order wasn't ready or even written down anywhere. So I had to order all over again and sit and wait. Got my food and the biscuits were hard and uncooked in the middle and my over medium eggs were hard as a piece of rubber. All while the workers discussed how to refill the coffee machine instead of focusing on the customers in the building. $12 breakfast that was completely inedible.
So angry at this place, left my number for the owner to call and rectify the problem and haven't heard anything. I try my hardest to support my fellow local businesses, but this is ridiculous and maddening.

From Aurora. Coming through Blackhawk and we wanted to stop for ice cream. Saw this had great reviews, they were right. I got chocolate chip and bananas foster, my mom got Colorado mud I think it was, and my dad got a coconut chai tea, they have milk alternatives. Everything is homemade, not just the ice cream, so when we walked in, they were making biscuits which was pretty cool to see. You gotta stop by if you come through here!

Great stop after riding the mountain bike trails of Maryland Mountain. The tasty vegan ice cream hit the spot for around $5. The cafe had freshly baked biscuits and other baked goods that were calling my name. Everything was clean to include the bathroom.

Man, we used to enjoy this place. Today's experience was terrible, though. The young blonde lady at the register was nice and helpful, but organization after that point was bad.
Between the line and the people at tables or waiting for orders, there were about 7 people. I sat at one of the tables while I waited for my order. I got a bacon breakfast burrito and a hazelnut latte. (Around 9:30 on 7/31/22)
I never heard my order called out. Eventually I noticed a couple of items wrapped in white paper sitting on the counter. I realized that the girl with the long black ponytail was working the grill, and when she dropped off the next item I could barely make out the word 'sandwich' when she spoke.
I went up to ask if one of the items was my breakfast burrito. The girl said something as she walked away from me. I couldn't hear her, but it definitely was not "yes, this one is yours." A regular that the girl had been talking to had to explain to me what the girl said. The girl was clearly busy, but I was exasperated by the annoyed look on her face and the complete lack of customer service as she walked away.
When the hazelnut latte was ready, there wasn't even an attempt to announce it. My wife had to go ask.
In the past we've been helped by the owner, and he obviously cares about his business. This has been a place we look forward to stopping whenever we pass through. After today, I don't think we'll be back. It could have been saved by just two seconds of actual customer service. Instead, I left ticked off with a sour taste in my mouth.

Excellent ice cream, and my wife loves the coffee. She got a hazelnut latte. I got chocolate cheesecake and salty cookie ice cream. "Salty cookie" might sound weird, but it's phenomenal.
