Howling Cow Cafe

Awesome place for the whole family. Come and do a tour, grab some milk or yogurt, a sandwich, or 3 pounds of cookie dough for only $9! Be careful though, some of their coffee lids don't fit quite right and you can end up with hot coffee on yourself which is not the best way, or even a possible way, to get caffeine in your system. Trust me on that one.

The Howling Cow Cafe is a hidden gem! The staff are nice, the coffee is great, and it has such a cute atmosphere. They use their own local milk, made on premises, and are very bike friendly. The only problem is that it is so far out, but it is worth it!

I love this place! It has a very low-key hometown cafe vibe and is located in a beautiful spot. They have a much better than average selection of snacks, food, coffee, and milkshakes. Try their matcha milk shake when they have it!

The farm/area here is beautiful. The cafe is like a mix between a small cafe and a (very nice) convenience store, with refrigerator burritos and pizzas that you can heat up. Of course there's lots of fresh milk and yogurt to choose from, too.

This is an awesome little cafe that I love to stop by any time I bike up Rist Canyon or just in the area. They are good for quick bites, coffee etc. The atmosphere is awesome, the staff are friendly and the patio views are great, but the coffee is AMAZING!

The first time I tried to order a sandwich I waited for over an hour, then had to cancel my order because I had to move on with my day. The second time I ordered a sandwich, in spite of my wife and I being the only customers in the entire cafe, they forgot our order entirely. After 20-30 minutes of waiting we had to cancel our sandwich order AGAIN and just get a bagel because we ran out of time. You guessed correctly that there will not be a third time I attempt to order here. Pass. Don't waste your time.

Very friendly service, fantastic chocolate milk by the way, and the orange juice isn't too bad either. Make sure to wear tight clothing, because it's not just the cows that bite your clothing!

Good food and a nice atmosphere. A generous community space inside with comfortable seating as well as an out-door patio. The mild is some of the best you will find in Colorado.

I really love this place. Their milk and shakes are super delicious. I would recommend getting a quart of any variety of milk from the fridge. If you return the bottle it is only $2.50.
