This place is great all around. Love the fresh milk which of course has to come with one of their specialty drinks 😋

We have enjoyed the Howling Cow Café since it opened. Their sandwiches have been excellent, the soft serve ice cream and dairy products are wonderful. Unfortunately, that does not seem to be the case anymore. A few days ago my husband and I stopped in and I had a cone that was very good, unfortunately he had a strawberry shake that was unacceptable. They made it with strawberry syrup and it was runny as milk. Today I took my daughter in thinking that the previous shake was just an accident. I was going to treat her and her grandson to a special lunch sandwich, told her how good their sandwiches were…. She had a smoothie that was as unacceptable as the previous strawberry shake, the sandwich looked like Walmart sliced meat, and she said the sandwich was tasteless. I do not know what has happened to this little café that is in such a special spot, but they need to figure out how to present the same quality food that they had in the past. I may go there for a cone now and then, and for the dairy products they sell, but I won’t be going for lunch!

Good simple sandwiches and delicious milk products but very chaotic if you come right before a tour (Wednesday, Saturday, and Sundays). We'll be back either for a tour or a different time of day.
Edit: We went back for a tour, which was really great and a lot of fun. Tour guides were accommodating and friendly. We were running late so we didn't order anything before the tour. Service was much faster. Well done!

Great place to stop for coffee, milk, milkshakes, icecream or snacks. The outside area has plenty of room to walk around and stretch your legs. They have a pond with wildlife wondering, a neat water fountain, a patio with shade from a pergola, picnic tables by the stream and cows! They have tours to see the cows or the old school building also on site. Tucked away in Pleasant Valley, this place is pleasant to visit.

Super nice service, always have an answer to any questions you have. Creekside view makes it a lil gem in the foothills 🦆

The food and drinks are good, but what really makes this place great is the environment and if you're up for it, the bike ride. My favorite thing is to bike from Fort Collins on the poudre trail and enjoying a good late breakfast here.

Such a lovely stop on our road trip! Looking for a morning coffee and found this close to the road. So cute with delicious, fresh food and a beautiful setting on a dairy farm. Well worth a stop.

Good prices for good food. It's a cafe, so it's not like you get huge meals or anything, but the sandwiches are fantastic, and they have a huge selection of drinks. They are also owned by "morning fresh dairy", so if you're a fellow milk drinker, you'll find even more great drinks. Recommend the root beer milk and the turkey sandwiches.
