It was such. Great experience! We went here on the 4th of July and got the Horchata and Mocha Frappe. The inside is very nice and it is well air conditioned with live plants and a nice atmosphere. it's busy in the drive thru, but wasn't that bad in the inside. Overall, a welcome new place!

Super nice suburban edition of this beloved South LA local chain. Really nice seating options and a legitimately spacious and light interior, far better than your average chain coffee shop.

Tried whatever Ethiopian varietal they had featured and it was great! Barista used a v60 with a scale and actually timed his pour. Hard to find a cafe nowadays with that attention to detail. If it wasn't so out of the way for me, I'd go all the time.

I went with the Mocha Mexicano on my last two visits. I can recommend it. This location has a strange layout for the drive thru. The pickup window is on your right side. No walk up allowed, drive thru only at this time.

Ordered a horchata frap, and it was delicious. The wait is extraordinary. By the time i got my order, my toddler had learned to walk and I'd used up all my vacation time. But as i sat there sipping my horchata frap, i found myself seriously considering if it was worth the wait.

Manazapan blended was well done. Music was not loud like other places, your able to hear the other person sitting across or study and focus.

I love Tierra Mia and have been going here since they opened in South Gate. They fuse traditional Mexican flavors with new methods. If you want flavorful coffee or a new flavor adventure try Tierra Mia. Starbucks is old and stodgy in comparison.
