Philz Coffee

Best coffee in town. Check out their menu, very different from other coffee places. Very distinct flavours. Amaing service by the staff. I enjoy coming to tjus place every time. Ambience is good to hang around and enjoy your coffee while you work or study.

Variety of coffee to choose from ... different from your normal Starbucks or Peet's selection. $3.50 for small and $4.50 for large. Nice big seating area but bit hard to find in the shopping center.

This Philz is amongst the best of Philz locations. What makes a Philz great is their people. The coffee at any Philz is always consistent if the people are good and this location has some of the best. I always go here, but today I was heading to Oakland before work. I accidentally ordered to WC because thats where my location was set and when I realized my mistake, I called the location. A gentleman picked up the phone and I told him I just wanted to let them know so the drinks weren’t sitting. He said it happens very often and told me how to resolve it. Jay was a great help in showing me how to fix the issue and I went to the college location, where they helped follow-thru with the resolution. Philz people are great at most locations, but these guys have an elevated level of customer love. Thanks Philz 🙏

Their system was down and was only taking cash or app pay and a very generous staff named Haley (sp?) Gave me and my friend our coffees for free!! Deep gratitude!

Pretty cool place to grab a cup of coffee. Actually went in looking for espresso, but they have different kinds of drip coffee. Wifey had a Jacobs Wonderbar and Klougn Amann. Both were tasty.

The seasonal coffees are tasty. This was my second visit here. The customer service is friendly and informative. They never hesitate to customize your order. I don't live in the Bay, but I'll visit Philz whenever I am.

Awesome west coast coffee shop! Very well setup and organized. Everything is made to order which is nice. They also have amazing food.

Btw, they have a ton of menu items that are not advertised in store. If you google their secret menu items then you will be surely in for a treat!

I just bought a new tea infuser for my daughter and she had asked for just some loose leaf tea and some hot water. Not only did the barista fill up my infuser for her, but he also gave her a choice of different tea's AND put some honey in the cup for her. Also, the tea was delicious. Would definitely recommend. It was chamomile by the way.

Pretentious coffee - I don't need my coffee to have hints of Madagascar vanilla and unicorn breath! I just want coffee that tastes like coffee. For simple to please people who just like basic coffee this isn't your place.
If you want your coffee experience to be similar to wine tasting with a fruity coffee presenting afternotes reminiscent of running nsked through fields of wild flowers on a spring day, this your place!
