Corner Bakery Cafe

Disappointing, we would frequent the restaurant at least once every two weeks prior to covid , first time back and realized menu choices were limited and they will no longer accept expired texted coupons . We called to ask about the expired coupon and they said yes however once we arrived we were denied, plus portions are not the same 😑

Had soup and 1/2 sandwich for lunch. Have eaten there a few times been great every time.

Update: still eating here, 9 mos. Later, haven't had a bad meal yet, service is still great I recommend it!

They were scheduled to deliver lunch at 11:45 for an important meeting involving all the executives of a major corporation. It's 12:08 and they still aren't here. I called but they could offer me no eta. They said they had two caterings to be delivered for 12:00 luncheons and ONE driver had to do both. Obviously we were the 2nd delivery. They FINALLY arrived at 12:20, well into the 12:00 meeting. We are very disappointed. The only reason they got one star from us is that you cannot post unless you select stars.

Clean. Good customer service. Really good haselnut cream coffee. Decently sized portion for the price. Healthy choices are available so a major plus. Quite relaxing atmosphere. Overall a good place to relax, drink coffee and enjoy the morning.

I was told they had good breakfast here and honestly I wouldn't recommend it got the coldest food ever and potatoes were rock hard you could tell there were extremely old

Had a bad experience. We arrived and were the only people in the restaurant, after ordering our food we waited 30 min before we went and asked how long it would take. Turns out they never put it in and we couldnt get our money back for 24 hours. Today I got my refund, but my time wasn't valued. I came back to the store for the money I paid but was not offered anything for the hour the time I lost. I hope in the future they can value a customers time better

Normally a solid spot to get a quick bite but tonight it was really bad. Ordered 3 meals and 2 little breads. All 3 meals were wrong. Like really really wrong! Kids meatball pasta and it was noodles with no sauce and no meatball. Just plain noodles. Bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was some soggy mess. No croissant. Can't remember the Turkey club type sandwiches name but the sandwich we received was a hot sandwich once again soggy and gross. The best one though was the lemon loaf. Even had a conversation about how many lemon loaf slices. I called it lemon bread but was politely corrected and she was polite that its Lemon Loaf. Well when I got home it was some pecan pie type thing. Not that close. It's crazy! Like we got someone elses order with the exact same food if that food was in opposite world. So learned my lesson! Check your food at the corner bakery!!

We had stayed at a nearby hotel for the night and were meeting our family in Melbourne for lunch; we googled the nearest shopping centre/café. We stumbled across this little gem. The range available was impressive and the service was great. I loved the décor and the staff were really lovely.

I ordered a uptown sandwich with no tomato, and avocado it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had eaten then the salad man that is good

I was disgusted to see a fly in the baked goods display. I immediately informed worker and her response was nonchalant. They allowed customers to still order from there 🤢
