The best cinnamon rolls in town!
The breakfasts though... aren't that good. Ordered huevos rancheros, the beans tasted like they were from a can, as did the salsa. Ordered my eggs over medium well, got over very easy.
My wife got French toast and a scrambled egg. French toast had a hint of vanilla, but otherwise very bland. Her egg was served cold.
My son got the Mickey pancake, which tasted like batter. Not very fluffy or flavorful.
The bacon was amazing though.
Nothing tasted like it was made from scratch.
We had to ask 3 times to get a refill on my wife's water, and we were walked by several times without getting a refill on my coffee. Never asked how our meal was, and I had to go to the counter to get the check.
I'll still come in for the cinnamon rolls, but don't think I'll be back for breakfast.

Great little breakfast spot in the cutest little town of Truckee.

Always a pleasant experience when I go here. Super friendly staff and I give a huge shout out to the cooks and chef. Beers on me, whenever you like. I see how hard you guys work making the food.

First of all the waitress was amazing and she was friendly.

We told her about my allergy, she brought out burger with tomato. We sent it back. Seriously like 10 minutes later she brought back the same exact burger with avocado mess on top of the bun. The burger didn’t even come with avocado. We told her. She said she informed the kitchen staff. So my husband ate it. We went to pay they charged us for someone else order. It was a 10 dollar difference we said it’s fine she can keep the rest as a tip she said no she has to refund it. Whatever. She goes to “refund it” still waiting on it. That’s almost $80 dollars. And chargers again for our order.

Your staff needs to be properly trained on allergies, and customer service.

Kind of a down home place so don't expect fancy but they have the best soups! I had the best chicken tortilla soup today and have had excellent clam chowder and other soups here before. Also have a great selection of burgers and sandwiches. BLT with avocado is yummy. They also have great breakfasts with omelettes, biscuits etc. Almost hate to share the secret but they deserve props.

Went there 9/13/20. Wasn’t a long wait for for, got there early in the morning. The food was good but not $20 for one person good. The french toast was on the colder side. The hash browns could have been cooked more. The bacon was cold also. At the end I went to pay and wrote out my tip and total, but I guess I shouldn’t be tipping people people they over charged me for the breakfast. Had the total amount clearly written out and they charged me more. I’m a Truckee local, probably won’t be returning.

My favorite breakfast place in all of Truckee. Jacklyn and her coworker, the blond, are exceptional at what they do Very personable and friendly. So glad I got there before they close the outdoor dining for the next 3 weeks due to new covid-19 restrictions. Can't wait for them to reopen. Oh, and by the way, the biscuits and gravy are out of this world!

I would hire anyone of these employees, they have a knack for having you to want to return.(it helps that the food was outstanding and hot when served)!

Just left and was very happy with my biscuits and gravy! My hubby had one of their omelettes and he enjoyed it as well. Our waitress was wonderful and the whole feel of the place was so cozy. Will definitely come back next time we're here

One of the best places to eat in truckee! It definitely beat my expectations! I had the chilequiles and they were soo good! And the pancakes were huge and really good! Service was great and they had outdoor seating! They have everything to eat here! Would definitely come again!
