A group of us traveled to Tahoe for a wedding from southern Cali, tried a couple places near by, but very quickly made Syd's the place we ate at daily (some days twice) for the week we were there. Outstanding breakfast and brunch spot. Killin' it with that coffee too.

Slow service. Our simple order was forgotten about and we waited 35 minutes for two bagels while other customers ordered, ate and left. They didn't try to make it right and shrugged their shoulders. Over priced cooked dough

Always a GREAT stop for a breakfast treat before hitting the trails or the slopes.
A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.
It takes a bit of time but it is ALWAYS worth it.
Try the onion bagels with butter!

PLACED A MOBILE ORDER AND WHEN I WENT TO PICK IT UP THEY SAID I DIDNT ORDER ANYTHING HAD TO WAIT 40 MINS TO GET COFFEE THAT SAID IT WOULD BE READY IN 15 MINS. Unacceptable why have mobile ordering if you dont stay on top of it. Poor service
Please fix your ordering system. Over priced food as well for all the Inconvenience and Incompetence.

We went in thinking since it was a bagel and coffee shop, even though the line was long, that it wouldn't take but 10-12 minutes to get our 2 bagels and head out of town. We order a bagel and 1 breakfast sandwich (which is just eggs and cheese on a bagel) and 20 minutes go by and the people who ordered 4 in front of us still didn't have their food OR coffee. People were leaving left and right because they were fed up with waiting. The staff was rude saying that "they weren't a fast food restaurant and there was a Taco Bell down the road". It's one thing to be running behind but the lack of communication and their complete absence of even caring that people had been waiting for 30 minutes for something that should've taken 2 was just ridiculous. Even the locals said that it takes this long all day everyday and to never expect it to be different. I'm sure the food is good, but at the expense of bad service and a 45 minute wait.

took 30 min to make 3 bagels with cream cheese and then straight up forgot to make the fourth bagel in the order. we had to leave after 45 minutes before they managed to get us the fourth bagel. it was not a busy morning whatsoever so not sure what the deal was

Service super slow. Took over 20 minutes and still no bagel. Then I asked for a muffin because we had to go. The cashier wouldn't give it to us, so we ended up losing our money. There were many other disgruntled people waiting for their food as well. Not a friendly atmosphere

I absolutely love Syd’s . It’s right next to the lake. The food is amazing as are the drinks. My friends and I meet at Syds often and it’s just so welcoming and comfortable to hang out at . Once again I adore Syds . Hope reading this helped with your decision
