A photo of a waffle breakfast sandwhich from another review brought me in the first time. The actual sandwhich, service and good tunes in this laid back coffee brought be back a 2nd time! Curtis, the owner took time to chat my first visit, his other staff were great and lots of great reading material

Finally, somewhere you can get something for breakfast AND it tastes good. I stayed in the area for 3 days and couldn’t find anywhere to get something for breakfast. Finally came across this place and I’m soooo glad. We had the Lox bagel and a cinnamon roll and OMGOODNESS it was delicious. Nice thick and fresh slices of salmon on a nice bagel. I could’ve eaten another one, but instead I opted to buy 3 cinnamon rolls to-go because they were that freakin good! Not dry at all! Usually cinnamon rolls can become overly sweet so you have to stop eating them but this had the perfect balance of sweetness for you to eat more. They were very fluffy and not dry like some cinnamon rolls can be and were very cinnamony which I loved. This place is somewhere you definitely have to stop by. Next time I’ll try the smoothies!

They know the difference between Latte and Cappuccino! Chicken q and bagels were delicious. Very friendly staff. Beautiful Tahoe lake view

i asked for the hearty delicious looking with thick bacon, avocado and scrambled eggs covered in cheese (as seen in the pic with the yeti coffee mug), but what i got was thin pre-cooked store bought bacon over eggs that weren’t even scrambled. threw the whole thing out. just horrible!

I enjoy reading terrible reviews, bad movies, horrible hotels and so on. For every nitwit that left this place 1 star I say you’re just a privileged Karen. I’m from the east coast so dealing with west coast lack of urgency is something I’ve come to expect. Here in Tahoe being a seasonal town you will have many tourists of course. This also means you will have high school and college kids working at local establishments. Yes the service will lack. Yes things will take time. The coffee is better than expected and so are the bagels. The help while young is generally courteous and efficient. Giving one star and writing in all caps just makes you look ridiculous and avoidable not the other way around. Let me also add most of the long waits are to blame on people getting large orders and ordering stupid things they shouldn’t be ordering and Syd’s probably shouldn’t be selling. If you see 12 people behind you maybe don’t order 6 smoothies! Doesn’t anyone just get coffee anymore?

Cute and cozy spot. Delicious bagels and AMAZING veggie cream cheese (it has cilantro in it).

Not sure how this gem only has four stars. I had the best latte of my life here twice. And also the best bagel sammy ever, with the best customer service ever! If you haven’t had the blackberry lavender latte yet do yourself a favor and run here, don’t walk.

Good vibes. Bad coffee. Had a mocha which seemed like the chocolate flavor was from hot chocolate mix rather than syrup. Maybe normal coffee or bagels are fine. Two stars as I wouldn’t go back for coffee even with the good vibes.

So much more than bagels! Breakfast items, sandwiches, smoothies as well as espresso. Awesome atmosphere, outdoor seating, perfect.location for a break from exploring Tahoe City. Check out the giant Penny Bear next door in the plaza when you go.

Had a jalapeños bagel with cream cheese was very good but didn't have much kick. Still love the place and having the ability to sit outside is nice with view of lake. Staff very friendly.
