Peet's Coffee

Well....lately my coffee is more like milk water and butter. Shots are pulled WAY too long. Sad because it used to be sooo good. When the employees don't know how many shots go in a large that is concerning.

Ready parking, great Baristas, fresh and tasty coffee. Good healthy pastries ONLY if you come early. Peets runs out of bran muffins by tradition by 10am every day...

It's located on a busy street corner, but the interior is bright, airy and modern. There is a sizeable outdoor patio as well, with 8-10 tables (and umbrellas).

Unfortunately, the wifi is incredibly slow. Hence the 3 stars (vs. 4 if the wifi speed was up to par.)

.work both register & as the Barista...great time management . This place is quick as I have seen other employees in another Peet's working so slow.

I much prefer the Starbucks stores in the area. I got a tea at Peet's; they appear to have a large selection, but then I was told the number that are available for a cup are limited to a selection similar to Starbucks. The chairs are much less comfortable than Starbucks. The bathroom is *right* in the dining area, the restroom is kind of dirty, and there is only one unisex restroom for the store. The person at the counter asked if I needed a receipt; I said no. Then I learned in order to use the WiFi you need the receipt. There are either very few, or no power outlets available in the dining area. Starbucks gives you two cups when you get a tea so you can steep the tea, then remove the teabag and have somewhere to put it (the empty cup). You get one cup at Peet's; so I got a few napkins and put the wet teabag on them - kind of suboptimal.

Peet's has a reputation for making wonderfully strong tasting coffee from its deep-roast process. I enjoy the medium-bodied blend, which is a top seller at this location.

Very friendly staff. They were much more friendly than what you seen in chain coffee shops. The ice latte I ordered was good too.

Coffee/tea we re serviced hot and staff were very friendly. Food selection was good and fresh.

AN EXPERIENCE OF THE EVIL OF RACISM!

I'm an asian american living in Mountain View. My workplace is in Sunnyvale right across PF Chang. I stopped by Peets Coffee to get a doze of caffein. When I walked in, nobody was in line. The lady at the cashier was white as well as the barista. I ordered a medium cup of coffee and waited. Then a white guy came in, ordered coffee and got his after few minutes. And I was still waiting for my order. A white lady cop came in and got her coffee after a few minutes. Then mine came last even if I got in first before the two white folks. I said: "Wow! Is this a kind of racism?" I will never go back there and spend a single penny for that stupid and evil coffee shop. I'm a pastor of a church in Mountain View and I have five thousand families. I will not recommend this coffee shop to every single family in my church.

Coffee good here if you don't mind waiting, or have no place to be. Took ten minutes to get a cup of dark coffee this morning. So if not in any kind of a rush, then this is the place for you.
