Heaven's Little Café

Went here for a quick lunch with my husband on my birthday. We got the heavenly nachos with carne asada AND chorizo per my husbands request. They got us our food within ten minutes. Nachos were smothered in cheese and the meats were cooked great as well. I got a peach smoothie too and it tasted so good! Like a real peach!

The food tasted like it came out of a can… not worth the money at all. Nothing special about the coffee. Pastries looked good but we didn’t try them. Staff was friendly.

This place is so bad I literally left my food on the bench outside. It reminds me of bad airport food. They don't bother to ask if you'd like to eat in because it doesn't matter, your getting your food in to go containers either way.

The only thing worse than the food, was waiting 32 minutes for it, despite the place being completely empty, at 6:30pm on a thursday.

The tilapia was drenched in a sauce so thick we didn't even realize there was fish underneath. It also came it a 10 cent plastic to go container. A pre-made salad at Safeway is better than the Caesar salad that we ordered.

This place makes IHOP look like the French Laundry. I wouldn't eat here if it was the last place open on the whole mountain.

Pastries were okay but the cinnamon roll latte was good. Coffee menu only shows specialty lattes which I found a little confusing as I really just wanted a regular coffee.

I purchased the Conquistador Chicken Sandwich and my daughter picked up the Fish Tacos. While my sandwich was good my Daughter's Fish Tacos were fantastic. Big portioned tacos made very well. The wait was a little long BUT it was definitely busy and I believe the restaurant was short staffed also. Would go again

Bought two bagels and they gave me one packet of cream cheese without putting any cream cheese in the bagel. 3 packets of cream cheese would have been the right amount of cream cheese.

Can’t even eat my breakfast. Never thought I had to double check that a bagel and cream cheese would have the cream cheese.

This place was a pleasant surprise for us.... We were looking for a little snack between lunch and dinner and stopped in. They have a great menu with snacks desserts, sandwiches, salads and full meals. The corn dogs were really great! We went there 3 times over the week that we were in Tahoe and everything was really good and it was quick service.

My husband and I ordered the Turkey club w/Avocado. When taking the 1st bite it cut the roof of my mouth as the crust was rock hard. The 2nd bite was very dry and odd tasting for a Turkey club and after chewing more I realized it was mustard. Who solely puts mustard on a Turkey club? I prefer mayonnaise but not a drop of mayonnaise, all mustard. The fries were grease logged like the oil needed changed. I gave 3 star because it's a cut Cafe, good area and has a lot of potential if they follow what customers might like instead of their own taste. And the amount flies in the Cafe can make one wonder how many times they're landing on the food it the kitchen area.

Small shop, but great food. Would eat here again.

Always have at least one breakfast here while staying nearby. Never been disappointed, always fresh & yummy & quick. The freshly squeezed OJ is awesome! Service great as well.
