Crazy Good Bakery And Cafe

The baked goods are fantastic. Not too sweet and always a great balance between the fruit and seasoning and sugar. The crust is always light, fluffy, and crunchy. My favorite are their croissants and danishes.

The best butter croissants in South Lake Tahoe. I don't have a picture because I ate it before I wrote this!! Great, friendly staff too!

Amazing pastries and pies. Love the bagel breakfast sandwich. Be prepared for a long wait.

I discovered this bakery/cafe on my way out of town during my last visit and what a find. Fresh baked everything you can think of with a pleasant twist. Everything had a little extra something that made it slightly different than your normal baked goods, and all for the better in my opinion. It’s a little small and I can imagine busy at times, but well worth the wait. This will be a regular stop for me on future visits to SLT.

Good variety of baked goods, & they're tasty, BUT... a bit on the 'pricey' side (IMHO). Good for a stop in now & then, but I can think of less pricey ways to enjoy good coffee & baked goods, after all, I live here. One last note, it's a pretty small place - not really big enough for live music - so makes it difficult to enjoy a conversation with anyone sitting at the same table you are. :-{D

Great pastries but the drinks were just okay. Got a mocha and it was just okay. Also got a hot chocolate and it tasted more cinnamon then chocolate. The cinnamon roll and cheese danishes on the other hand were fantastic.

Yes, they’re crazy good! From pastries to bagels, it was crazy good. Our new breakfast spot.
