El Rancho Market

I've been going to the market and cafe a lot recently because I just moved to the area. Specifically the cafe in the mornings. I always order a smoothie in the mornings. The past couple times I had gone there my stomach started to hurt after drinking the smoothie. I thought it was me, but one day I didn't order the smoothie for breakfast and my stomach was fine. I think the the product they are using may be old because I everytime I get a smoothie from the rancho cafe my stomach does not feel well. Has anyone else had the same experiences?

Overpriced mostly but can't give this place less than 5stars. The staff are local nice people. El racho takes care of its staff. The produce is excellent They have not only a deli but a coffee and sushi bar. One of the best stores I have ever shopped in. I am really happy El rancho is doing so well.

This is my very favorite market!. I start at the entrance where the bakery is, then the sushi section, to the salads and bbq section is. And Iove their homemade Chile rellenos, then on to the fresh produce

Became a resident of the SY Valley a couple years back -- now my regular spot. Smaller but very well-curated. Hands down the best and most popular grocery for the tri-village area. Get something from the Deli! Yum!

$0.75 a piece for bacon, sausage. Hot food bar and salad in the early morning.

THE ULTIMATE COUNTRY GROCERY! El Rancho has all the variety of a large grocery, and much more. Totally awesome, helpful staff. Great butcher/veggies/deli/bakery. One of those magic places where they seem to get everything right. Great vibe. We've been shopping at El Rancho for 20 years and it just gets better.

I ordered a cheeseburger & a hamburger, was told it would take 5 minutes. The 5 minute wait was no problem & the burgers were ready within that time but they sat for another 15 minutes waiting for someone to put on the condiments & rap them up to go. They were nice & cold when I finally received them.

Purchased a cooked whole chicken . Noticed once I was serving the chicken for dinner that under the skin was a long black human hair. Took the chicken back to the store. Showed the young female manager the hair in the flesh of the chicken. Her response to me "that is part of the chicken". I said I've never seen a chicken with hair. I thought chickens have feathers. I politely ask that she exchanges the cooked whole chicken . The manager declined. So going forward . I left the chicken with the manager. I encourage people not to purchase from the deli. As the hygiene is questionable. Everything else seems to be clean and acceptable.

Great local store with a nice selection. They have a great deli and a lot of tasty pre-made items too. Watch for sales and their price will be as good as any place around.
