Went on a Thursday at around 2pm. The service was good and fast.
The place looks and is clean, and looks great and cute.
However, the food is pretty bad. Our table ordered crepes ratatouille, a Danish sausage sandwich, and mushroom and chicken crepe apart from a Belgian waffle.
The only things that didn't completely taste bad were the crepes ratatouille. Everything else (except for bread) tasted straight from a can.
Would not come back. The sausage tastes okay, but it quite rubbery/foam-like. The waffle was pretty okay.
The fresh fruit side contained fruit that was on the border of being okay to eat and getting spoiled.

Very cute atmosphere. Lovely outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Gross coffee that didn't feel like it had any caffeine in it. Delicious fries! Danish sausage sandwich was a 6 out of 10.

I went here for the first and I was very warmly greeted. The wait time was 5 min on a Sunday at 11:30ish. I had the waffle combo and the waffle was superb and so fluffy! Very happy and I’m definitely coming back. Thank you

Delicious waffle... yummy eggs and bacon and coffee. Honestly you will feel like you are in another world. I love Solvang and no trip is complete without a visit to the Belgian Cafe

Corned beef hash extra crispy and the Belgian waffle with strawberries and blue berries. Waffle was crisp on the outside and gooey on the inside!

The picture I posted of this restaurant is quite good. They should use it in their promotional materials because it is so inviting, it makes coming here seem like a must. Like Einstein and the atomic bomb, I regret my contribution.

We dined outside on a stunning day in Solvang. I ordered a crepe with fresh crabmeat and a light sauce. My companion ordered a bacon cheeseburger. We stood inside the restaurant for several minutes watching the hostess read a newspaper with her back to us. I softly spoke up and asked if we were to just seat ourselves. We brushed this off. After all, it's Solvang. Things are a little slower-paced here.

After being seated outside st our request, our server approached and asked if we were ready to order. (I'm sorry, I don't think I wrote that accurately. Let me try again.) As our server placed our menus in front of us, she asked if we were ready to order. "What happened to Solvang-pace?" we wondered. She graciously gave us a minute to look at the menu.

The crepe was beige. As was the sauce. In fact it not only looked beige, it tasted beige. If you wonder what beige tastes like, by all means go here and order the crab crepe. Tell all your friends, "I tasted beige!"

The fries served with my friends burgers were quite delicious. I ended up eating most of them. Beige just isn't what I imagined.

Great food and service. Everyone goes to the pancake house on the main street but this place is so much better.

Best Belgian waffles I've had. So glad we tried this place out.

Poor customer service. After they took our name and gave us estimated 40 min. 30 minutes later they said they have to cancel.
