A small coffee place a step away from the pier of Seal Beach.. they make good coffee that you can enjoy seated outside feeling the ocean breeze,. The place has a very nice retro look..

I got the iced mocha with oat milk and it had an amazingly strong flavor! So if you like your coffee to wake you up in seconds, I say go for the iced mocha. The price is slightly on a higher side but honestly, I think it's worth your money.

This place has a long reputation of hiring high schoolers to work behind the counter- which would be fine if they had the training or experience to handle a rush. I felt bad at how overwhelmed they seemed- even though their friend leaning over the counter to show them funny pictures on his phone probably wasn't helping. By the time I got my acai bowl it was soup, and numerous other patrons were also asking why their orders were taking so long. Bogart's coffee and food aren't bad, but for prime beach pricing their staff definitely need more training; neither of the teenagers there were in full uniform, and I have concerns about whether they were actually trained in food safety and preparation.

I go here often to write. The coffee is amazing, the view is beautiful, it's just an escape. And the people are SO nice. They will customize your coffee pretty much any way you want it. It's a welcomed change from the robotic nature of so many chain coffee shops. Love, love, love.

I love this place! I moved to SoCal two years ago in 2018 and Bogart's quickly became my favorite coffee shop. The funny thing is I don't drink coffee, so tea is my weapon of choice. the atmosphere, the proximity to the Seal Beach pier, the helpful and pleasant young people working are absolutely precious. I live by USC, but will always make the time to drive down to Seal Beach, pick up a cuppa tea and drive down PCH to HB. so dope

They are open on Christmas.
The bowl tastes really good. 😋

It is fall, and to some of us that means pumpkin everything. My barista made me a delicious pumpkin spice latte with an extra shot of espresso and went to a little trouble to make sure it still tasted like pumpkin over the taste of the coffee. I did not even ask her to do this but it was precisely what I would have requested had it been thinking of asking. It was perfect.

I always get coffee from here when I come to seal beach.

Good coffee. Nice staff. Ok price.

I get a latte to go and walk on the beach.

Enjoy the coffee, the breeze, and the wonderful day~

Awesome-

Update: The place is not packed but I think it has gotten more popular with time.

Awesome coffee spot! The caramel macchiato is the best. I order mine with oatmilk and it's perfect. Also love that this is a constitutional abiding establishment. 5☆

It is not a chain coffee shop! it does not have three chairs that are the same... the tables are small, but the ambiance, the atmosphere, and the view of the Pacific are wonderful. The crowd is mostly locals, the coffee is always good, and their yogurt parfait is plain and simply delicious. They make everything on the spot, except the pastries; nobody will wait an hour for a slice of cake. Once you get out you are in one of the nicest little towns in CA.
Their coffee card program is kept in a small index box... so quaint and so cool.
