My experience was a mixed one, and, while it wasn't totally negative, I'm not sure I will return.
We ordered and split the following: a chai latte, a lemon croissant, an apricot-almond croissant, a chai maple tart, a vegan breakfast burrito, and a breakfast croissant sandwich.
The chai latte tasted fine but wasn't hot when delivered.
The lemon croissant was good, but the curd was bland. The pastry was very crispy and a proper laminated dough.
The apricot-almond croissant was on the bready side, but the halved apricot and danish topping were very delicious.
The chai maple tart had a buttery crust and a very light, whipped filling. However, I found both flavors to be very weak. I tasted no maple.
My breakfast burrito was good. I thought the portion size was fair, and it came with a side of fresh fruit. However, I found the roasted vegetables inside to be a bit large and a difficult to navigate around. The hash browns in it completely disappeared and were in no way crispy or noticeable.
The breakfast sandwich was the tastiest item! The croissant was flaky, the eggs had a nice browning on the outside, and the bacon was substantial and delicious. However, the cheese was lackluster. It was advertised as sharp cheddar, but it was incredibly mild.
The owner and staff were very accommodating, friendly, and attentive without hovering. While this place wasn't for me, I urge others to try it out and wish them nothing but success.
