Good selection of self-pour coffees, and the one I had was nice. Nice pastries and muffins too! Only downside is that it's busy, practically every table and seat was taken up by people working on laptops (on a Saturday mid morning). We snagged a seat outside in the sunshine though.

Long standing coffee shop. Always visit when in SB. Great place to stop in the morning even if your driving through downtown as it's right off the freeway.
Best bet for freshly roasted coffee. Convenient and not too pricey.

After coming to this place for years and writing a five-star review only a few years ago, here I am editing my previous review. This morning while my wife and I sat in the chairs that they placed with the table they placed outside of the main seating area, a rude employee. At least I think he's one. Or maybe he's even the owner with a company shirt on intentionally slammed the door in the back of my chair spilling my coffee all over me. Not an apology. Not that I'm sorry. Nothing as much as I was upset. I didn't do anything except to get up to leave. As soon as I get up he came out of the building and move the chair right up against another chair. So there's no way to people could sit and I said to him. Oh so you did do it on purpose. He acted like he didn't understand me or like he was deaf, which maybe he was. Either way that was rude and on purpose and I will never go back. I buy my coffee there every week and I will miss their coffee beans but I will not miss the rude employee.

Coffee was good! Avocado toast was decent mostly. Except it was not "toast", it was a thick slice of soft bread. so I was a little disappointed by that. 😂

Favorite coffee shop in town to work at. Free refills for a while and an awesome atmosphere in general. It smells like dark beans and victory(as all good coffee shops should). The parking situation kinda sucks if you're trying to sit there for a long time(paid), but I walk there so its not an issue.

Excellent coffee! Was expecting the usual bitter coffee (ordered double espresso) but I was pleasantly surprised. I like proper coffee, not the usual sock juice you tend to get lol
Oh...you can pre-order from a tablet when you come in, saves you from waiting in line, great innovative idea there. Was packed on Christmas day, which I understand as they do great coffee and most other places are shut so people tend to flock to the only places that are open. Definitely recommend the place! Didn't try the pastries or anything else as they were only serving coffee on Xmas day.

Busy place. I know that all of us are working hard to redefine service and this company is doing a good job keeping their clients served in a great way. The coffee is a great here and the gluten-free cinnamon rolls were delicious I would definitely recommend this company.

Walk for morning coffee everyday while vacationing in Santa Barbara. Different coffee brewed daily. Chocolate filled croissant and bagels freshly baked. Went early service was good.

Always pleasant to stop by here. There tends to be a selection of one or two new drinks every time I come by. The matcha latte is alright, a little grainy but flavor was not too diluted by milk or ice. Also not very sweet which is nice, gives the option to add one's own preferred level of sweetness or leave it as is.
There is a beautiful coffee roaster in the back that is fascinating to watch and smells DELICIOUS. Always well-staffed so you always have someone behind the counter to help if you need something. Large selection of coffees, great for gifts. Gives lots of variety to fit your coffee gift to whomever you are gifting to. I enjoy grabbing a coffee here with chocolates from two stores down at Maya Chocolate. Great location not too far from the beach with plenty of parking options there and along nearby streets. There is also a single restroom in the back for patrons.
Also if you want to purchase coffee bags (the big burlap ones), they are $2 each! Very sturdy and can have cool prints, sheds very easily though but great for growing potatoes or DIY decorating. We went to the coffee storage to the left of the main cafe and talked to one of the employees working back there to get them.

Decent coffee. Crowded with the new furniture but it looks nice. The wait was a bit long as I watched people who ordered after me getting their blended drinks before my much simpler drink was made. But at least it came out hot and strong.
