literally so good. when people say hidden gem they’re not joking! my boyfriend and i came here based on the pictures and other reviews because it looked delicious and like a good bang-for-your-buck and we were right. got the breakfast burrito with soyrizo and sweet waffle (he said best waffle of his life) and they were perfect and very filling to split. go!

The best waffle I’ve ever had! The nut butter inside was amazing and made it filling. Husband got the avocado toast but the waffle was heavenly.

Ordered the Sally’s Waffle & totally one of the best waffles I’ve ever had in my entire life. Only better when my mom makes it! I liked how fresh it was with all the fruit, almond butter, & homemade granola… the list goes on. If you’re in SLO & looking for an artsy breakfast spot, this is the place. Location was also really central & had plenty of outdoor seating. Great coffee too.

Ordered the Sally’s Waffle and it’s easily the best waffle I’ve ever had in my whole life. No competition. All ingredients in the meals are fresh; fresh fruit, homemade sourdough bread, homemade waffle mix, homemade syrups for the coffees, homemade granola… the list goes on. Came to California for 4 days on vacation and this is the only good meal I’ve had on the whole trip. If you’re in San Luis Obispo and looking for a breakfast spot, this is the place. Location was also really cute and had lots of outdoor seating. Quick service as well!!!

We LOVED our brunch/lunch at Sally Loo's. Quick service, nice atmosphere, delicious food. Some gluten-free options available as well.

Loved the ambiance of the place and the great and friendly service. Orange juice was really fresh. Food wasvok. I just think my tuna melt needed some more seasoning and a little bit of acidity.

I usually will not mind the line and wait if the food was exceptional, but not the case here. They had only one cash register taking orders and one barrista making coffee for a packed house. Am sure the kitchen had some issues too cause food came out late. Interesting part of SLO though, good location.

So I just stopped in, had breakfast. The don’t go bacon croissant was HUGE and so dang tasty.
I went back for a second root beer. And my card was declined.
Since it was already opened, it was gifted. I feel bad, I Swore I had enough funds on my PayPal card. I will always come here when I’m in SLO.

Hands down the best breakfast burrito in town, we’ll seasoned, flavorful and the sweet potato was a surprising addition which rounded off the flavors.
Grab the seasonal doughnuts before they are gone.
Baked strata - Frittata with bread slices in it, as much as I loved it, would have preferred a bit less bread and a bit more egg, so that didn’t taste like a savory bread pudding, still delicious nevertheless.
Would love to stick around longer for the cool ambience next time. The vintage furniture, fireplace etc adds a nice touch.

I ran over to this place from the train station in the pouring rain, desperate for coffee while we were waiting for our train which had been delayed 2 hours, only to find they had closed at 2 :( luckily for me, folks were still working in there preparing for a private event, and someone kindly took pity on my wet self and fixed me a hot cup of tea free of charge. I really appreciated that stranger's kindness <3 surely they are great people there. There was also a really cute baby in there so 10/10 experience overall. Thanks Sally Loo's! You made my nightmare travel experience marginally less miserable.

Sally Loos is the best breakfast spot in town. The food, staff and atmosphere is supreme!
