I hadn't been to Novo in quite a few years and it is so much better than I remembered.
The sharing plates were delicious, specifically the Korean short ribs and potato samosas. For mains, the Roghan Josh curry was tasty and the rack of lamb was incredible (pictured).
All of that with fantastic service from Paolo! Can't wait to head back there again soon.
Also FYI the corkage fee is $20.

We really liked this spot. If I could do decimals we’d give this place a 4.3. Outdoor area is super cute, they’re dog friendly and brought water out for the pup. We got the burger, salmon bisque, lobster roll, Arnold Palmer and Caesar salad. All in all it was a good meal. The burger was a little overdone for my liking but solid choice. Friendly staff too. Thank you!

Excellent service. Nice patio by the stream. The savory crepe of the day was outstanding and a very generous portion. Some original and tasty craft cocktails as well as a nice wine list. Well worth the money and not the typical brunch menu.

This place was hopping on a Friday night. Wished we could have sat on the patio but we were graciously seat immediately in the restaurant. We did not have any drinks but the bars seemed pretty busy. The food was about 4 stars but all together this is a fun place!

Went for dinner and decided to have all shareable appetizers. The portions were generous. Three items were enough for the two of us and we even took left overs home. Everything was very good, the staff was friendly, and it has a beautiful patio by the creek.

I made a reservation about a month in advance for a friend’s birthday and specifically requested a table near the river. The view did not disappoint and the back patio is * s t u n n i n g *
I got the shrimp pappardelle and it was actually one of the best pastas I’ve had in a long time. The sauce was so creamy and umami and the shrimp was cooked just right (dont know how many times I’ve had over cooked shrimp in a pasta dish)
Brussel sprouts were good but not extraordinary. A safe option
Calamari was delicious and had a great crunch. Wasn’t over cooked either :-)
Our waiter was amazing, he waited for us to order our mains before recommending a wine pairing. The service was a little slow but it was understandable as it was a Saturday evening. 10/10 would return!

Facing to Higuera St, the restaurant in the back with peaceful deck by the creek. Love the Diver Scallops $39 (braised pork belly, shaved fennel, blood orange and apple salad, celery root puree, apple cider reduction) and Duck Breast $36. Under the duck, black/purple rice layer was a little bit firm, which was typical from American cook (who might not know how Asian eats rice); at the side, there was dark blown ugly curry, which, in my opinion, totally ruined the recipe and the presentation - highly recommend the chef to improve on that. Also, tried Hazelnut Cheesecake $10 and Negranti Sheep's Milk Ice Cream $10 - not impressive, very plain.

What a fun surprise the basement/cellar was. (We have eaten on the back patio before.) Super cozy on a cold, rainy night. Food was unique and superb. We got 4 appetizers and thoroughly enjoyed each one. Gourmet.

This place is only running on its ambience. The food and drinks are below average. Their cocktails are so stiff that halfway through one drink, we felt tipsy. Good if you’re a college going student but not for us! I ordered the lettuce wraps with tofu, and their lettuce wasn’t washed!!

Amazing atmosphere and delicious food! The outside dining is so great! I love the creek down below and the beautiful nature! Service was really good! I will definitely be coming back, and I live in Ventura!
