Great sugar free options, yummy baked goods, and great service! We really like the Ambiance as well. Thanks to Logan for being so knowledgeable and giving such great customer service while we were in yesterday.

Enjoyed my visit while traveling to San Luis Obispo. I've been inthe area several times now and Blackhorse has become one of my "go to" locations to get a good morning pick me up. The coffee is very good and it's possible to get a bite to eat. Access is easy on my way to visit my client.

Loved it. 1st time there. Good prices. They are now allowing indoor seating. Awesome coffee drinks. Friendly service.

Honestly the prices are a rip off given the amount of food, the quality is just okay, the service was mediocre and they forgot to make what we ordered.

I went in Monday afternoon probably about 130 when it wasn't very busy to talk to the manager and have a cup of coffee. When I walked in the door another customer finished up her order and stepped away so when I stepped up to the register I thought I would receive service. Instead, the Clerk of Barista that had been at the register step aside 2 talk for quite a while with the customer that had been served before me. Talking about things like school and plans and such I got an earful before she finally turned her attention to me. I felt it would have been appropriate for her to tell the other person I'll be right back with you after I take care of this customer. Instead, she finished her conversation and then came over to ask me what I needed. She answered my question about the manager and then I left because I felt I had been ignored long enough that they did not deserve my business. I will not bother going back here or recommending this location. My intention was to talk to the manager about allowing a group of us 2 have a meeting there in a couple weeks which would have brought much more business on a slow day but because of this cashier they have lost this and all future meeting business that I could have brought here

The drinks run hot but if you give yourself a minute or two the flavor really comes out. Great staff, great cafe vibe, and so far my fave for coffee in San Luis Obispo.

Their bakery products are great, service is friendly, prices ok, and... the coffee and other drinks are well-made. If you're looking for a non-starbucks-type place, this would be it. Black Horse and Cafe Andreini in Arroyo Grande are local secrets🙂

Nice atmosphere. Good variety of pastries. Paninis were real good. Appreciate the local art work for sale.

Environment is great. Employees are very friendly. Baked good are very fresh and delicious. A local coffee gem for SLO. This is my go to for my daily coffee fix.

Always lovely baristas, great custom drinks. Best coffee shop food you could ask for.
