One of the best places to visit. The hazelnut mocha was amazing, but what was extraordinary (As indicated in another review) is the almond croissant & Bear claw. The croissant has an almond paste (similar to Indian sweet - Badam Halwa) coating inside, which makes it so unique.

If I go get a flavored iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich, it will inevitable be overpriced, like $12. This morning I got a great breakfast sandwich and one of the current specialty drinks, a Grasshopper, which was iced coffee, chocolate, and mint. It was about $10, which doesn't seem like a huge difference, but it definitely felt more reasonable for what I feel like was also better food. Usually after I eat a breakfast sandwich, I feel greasy, but after this one I felt clean. There was crisp tomatoes and herbs in it, definitely delicious and worth the price.

The girls working here were very sweet and patient with my not-so-patient grandpa. Lovely artwork for sale on the walls too. I'd stop here again whenever I'm in town

Good coffee house. Relaxing, noice atmosphere. If you need a quick snack or coffee this is the place to go. I enjoyed the banana bread a lot.

Good selection of baked goods and food choices. Decent coffee, to be honest though the mocha tastes like warm milk. Last 3 times I went I was thoroughly disappointed with my coffee. For a coffee shop, kind of a bummer. I like hot, robust coffee, somewhat missing those metrics.

Wonderful coffee and awesome service!

Great coffee and an excellent outdoor seating area. They have a large bakery selection with some top notch scones and muffins. Historical I have found their code to strong, but they have tamed it down and improved over the last couple years.

The caramel is homemade and SO good! I also really enjoy the Breakfast Paninis, which are unique and delicious. Seating around the fireplace makes for a cozy place to chat, or you can sit outside.
Pro Tip: if you're not going anywhere, you can get your drink in a "for-here" mug and generate less trash!

Disappointed in my drink not a great freeze to drink I haven't had since y'all closed off of Los osos valley road new location in which it's not really new is hidden not the easiest to get in or out of

Coffee is robust, hot and (almost) always served with courtesy and professionalism. If your server failed in that way don’t blame the shop. I truly believe they are well trained and are proud to work there. If your server wasn’t professional feel sad for them as this is a problem they may carry to their next few jobs until they see a pattern as to why they keep getting fired. Give Blackhorse another opportunity to show what they’re made of.
