There aren't many places near me that serve a good pour over, and I repeatedly come here for their quality roasts and service! Being on Market St in DTSJ the sit-down atmosphere is as good as it gets for sidewalk seating overlooking a busy street surrounded by high-rise hotels. It's more of a grab and go place for coffee, which is what most of us cone in for anyway ☕️🏃‍♂️👍

This location is absolutely adorable. Their avocado toast was amazing! I also loved their French tea. Their food is a little pricey, and their staff was nice depending on who you got. The seating didn’t offer heard a lot, but it was a very cute spot to have a quick breakfast.

Loved my morning at Voltaire! Kind baristas/owner, clearly care about the quality of their coffee and want to keep delivering top notch coffee/food to their patrons. Stop by one morning if you're in the area.

Super friendly staff. Relaxing music. Quiet. Great place to study. Tea and coffee were great too. This Cafe changed my mind about San Jose.

A decent flat white. Not too exciting but solid.

Came in on a Saturday morning and was greeted by the staff immediately. The smell of coffee filled the shop as the beans were roasting in the roaster. I had the latte with oat milk with a ham and egg bagel. Hubby had the flat white with an order of avocado toast. He said it was the best avocado toast he's had. Crunchy bread with cream cheese, shallots, avocado, and egg with sprinkles of paprika on top.

I love this place. I was staying in the area for work and stopped by here twice for coffee. I had a Cappuccino and Croissant the first time and the Latte on my second visit. Delicious and strong drinks. Fresh and super soft croissants. This place is a winner and I want to take it back to LA with me.

Voltarie Coffee House is super cute, clean, and everything I want in a coffee shop. Plenty of seating inside, and a few tables outside on the sidewalk as well. Love these little coffee shops. The menu is very simply and written above register area. Just love the vibe I get from places like this, instead of the big chains. Wish I lived in the area so I could support them.

Friendly baristas and super helpful when I needed some suggestions. Conveniently located near downtown hotels and directly behind some of the popular eating areas on 1st street. Check it out!!

I was in town for the week for a convention and they made a perfectly well balanced mocha each and every time.

Because of how well they build their drinks it can take time. Be careful if you do not have time to wait, but it's well worth it.

A great locally owned coffee house that roast and sell their own coffee beans. Their talented baristas do “latte art.” Besides doing the standard “leaf” or “heart” with the milk foam, ask for an “animal,” such as a dog or bear. It will make you smile!

Voltaire also serves delicious sandwiches and light fare. Their version of avocado toast with hard boiled egg (cooked to perfection) is definitely a “must try.”

With its coffees, Voltaire has both dairy and non dairy milks (soy, almond, coconut, and oat) to choose from.

Place is big enough with floor to ceiling windows looking out on S Market Street where you can either sit or stand inside or grab a table to sit and enjoy a great tasting and looking coffee served in a porcelain cup (no paper cups here!). It’s low key and calm.

Located on the same side of the Westin San Jose and across the street from the San Jose Marriott/ San Jose Convention Center, there is now no excuse to find a great cup of coffee from a local business, instead of the coffee place with the green sign with the mermaid’s head on it).

I really enjoyed my experience at Voltaire. My latte was prepared very well. It appeared as if many of their patrons were regulars. My coffee was knocked over just after exciting the shop and although my intention was to return just to get paper towels, the barista promptly offered me a refill. Sure was also really pleasant to chat with. The entrance is a single door but otherwise it's handicapped accessible.
