This place serves good drinks. Be careful since there are 2 Crema coffee shops within 1 block of each other, so when you put the address in your GPS make sure it's the one you want to go to!

**CREMA NOW HAS A 3RD LOCATION**
Crema Coffee is by far my favorite coffee house in San Jose! Any day that I get Crema Coffee is a good day! I love their house blend so I highly recommend getting a bag of beans for your home. Did I mention they roast their own beans?! I also am a sucker for their almond croissants. Their fresh juices are delish as well. I recommend the carrot/orange juice. In the summer, be sure to get an italian soda! So light and fresh! They're really popular with catering so be sure to put your order in advance.
The employees are nice and it's the kind of place that remembers your face and your "usual". It just feels like home, ya feel me?

Terrible experience. They were understaffed, they forgot my drink, and they used a very old espresso shot that was sitting out for at least 5 minutes in my drink... Please hire more people, two people working a full store is not sufficient for this location. For the record, their iced drinks were delicious

Had a wonderful cappuccino while visiting in this relaxed coffee shop with a friend for an hour. Great local art featured on the walls and a nice selection of treats in the pastry case.

Friendly staff, clean, and lots of seating space. Not a lot of outlets; if you're headed there with a laptop you'll want to arrive with it charged, get there early, or consistently scan for when a space near an outlet becomes available. Overall, the food is okay, heads up, if you're vegan, this cafe doesn't cater to you.

Honestly this place has such a classic atmosphere. I love the coffee and I used to come here for studying. I'm no longer in the silicon valley but I miss this place with such a passion. I'm definitely gonna come back.

They do not even have sugar and mixer outside ..have to ask them to provide sugar.. it's looks a good place to browse or skim internet .

Exceptional espresso and staff. The atmosphere provides a warm inviting feel. Surprising how quickly this spot became a go to stop for so many. Very well run, exceptional staff.

Went here in mid morning and the cafe wasn't very busy. Good coffee and tea, with a nice ambiance. Staff were a little short with me and a bit rude, which turned me off from staying there longer.

Crema has two locations in downtown San Jose. This one, which opened November 2017, is about 3 blocks from the other cafe and much larger in space. I ordered a single latte, which was great—the right temperature, made with fresh beans. I also experienced excellent service.
Why did I deduct one star? The spotty WiFi and the Viet coffee are the culprits. The Vietnamese coffee might have been modified for the mostly non-Vietnamese clientele. Many people order the coffee cold (cafe sua da), but “some like it hot” because authentic cafes will bring it to you while it’s being made. The advantage of this service is you can determine how long you want the Viet coffee to drip into the condensed milk in your glass cup. To me, it’s poetry in motion, but others might not have the time to wait.
My advice is twofold: 1) make Vietnamese coffee the old-school, authentic way or not at all; and 2) replace the tiny Dixie cups next to the water container with glasses and ensure the container has water. (April 2018)
