I ordered:
Iced "surprise me" which turned out to be the pumpkin spice! Was soooo good. Lots of places will over sweeten the pumpkin or add too many spices, this was just the right amount of sweet and spice with pumpkin blend. YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!

Bacon Burrito! Made fresh to order and you can tell it's made with love.

Chris helped me pick out my drinks and food and the conversation and atmosphere of this coffee shop is a must see.
I drive past it everyday always saying I NEED TO STOP and I'm so glad I did! I will definitely be back to try all of the special drinks and concoctions they have on the menu.

The coffee cart, art and conversation here can't be found anywhere else.

Very authentic and worth the money/time spent here.

Thank you Chris and fellow coffee goers for helping me start my morning out right!

See you again soon

A really friendly and welcoming crew at this small, cycling-themed coffee shop on Grand Ave. in Pacific Beach. It’s directly across the street from the Starbucks and Wendy’s. They have three outdoor tables along the street.

The coffee is great. Really well-curated, balanced, and vibrant flavors. The creative espresso drinks are great as well — I recommend the Lavender Bliss or the Honey Cinnamon.

A local's shop that treats everyone like a local. Coffee Cycle roasts their own beans and pride themselves on sourcing excellent beans. They have at least two direct trade partnerships (Honduras and Costa Rica) for coffee beans, and owner "Hippy" Chris is a regular guest on the Coffee Smarter podcast sharing his coffee knowledge. The inside of the shop is small, very small, but has a unique local maker's market, and their are round tables for seating outside. Coffee Cycle was originally a coffee cart built on top of a pedicab bicycle, and the local bike community shows up regularly for group rides, fun rides, coffee drinking, and communing. Very welcoming, dog and people friendly. Vegan food options including pastries, burritos, and oatmeal. Full menu of single origin coffees for pourover, espresso, and espresso drinks. Photos from multiple visits. I get here at least once a month even though it is no where near my home.

This place is amazing. First of all, the staff were very friendly and we're very helpful in helping me choose from their different coffee options. Second, the coffee was spot on👌🏼and they actually offered me a different coffee if I wasn't satisfied with my order. Very cool 😎 And then that brings me to the Bacon burrito. So so good. Made fresh, no less.

Thank you Coffee Cycle team.

Incredible! If you’re into specialize/craft espresso/coffee, this is the place. Met Luis and he’s an awesome coffee guy. Very passionate and knowledgeable about coffee. I ordered the Freddo and it came out smooth, sweet(in a good way), creamy and robust coffee flavor. Couldn’t recommend this place more. I hope you’ll give it a chance.

**Updates. My apology. Luis did recommended you. Can’t wait to try it.

This is one of the best coffee shops in the area and serves the best espresso drinks I've ever had. Chris and his team are super knowledgeable and committed to excellent and sustainable coffee and ingredients. I love the commitment to sustainability without sacrificing taste/ experience. 10/10 customer service and just about everything!!

Very good bike and coffee shop central to San Diego.
Staff is great and the cappuccino was amazing.
I recommend.

Best coffee in town! Each shot is measured, ground, and pulled to order. I home roast my beans and can top most coffee shops. Coffee Cycle put my brews to shame. Parking is a little limited but it is worth the effort.

We ordered a Dark Mocha Latte and Honey Cinnamon Latte. We also had a Sweet Jalapeño pastry. All of this was absolutely perfect! The cashier was super nice! The service was fast and very helpful. The menu has so many options. There are vegan friendly options and I think everything is locally sourced.
This is definitely our new favorite coffee spot. ☕

Coffee is OK. It's 3rd wave coffee but non locally sourced. They have a few inhouse made items but pastries and snacks are sourced.
I used to go here frequently (maybe 30 or 40 times total). There was a friendly gentleman who seems to own or may have started the coffee spot but i dont think he works it anymore. Covid policy took a lot of the fun out of grabbing coffee here. I cant hear any of the baristas or see their faces. The detachment of the personal aspect of grabbing a cup of coffee has eroded one of my main reasons for regularing here. With that gone, they are at a comparative disadvantage with all of the in house roasters with purpose built facilities popping up in town.
