So glad this was across from my hotel and open both Sat/Sun! The coffee was fresh and amazing, not just "good".

I loved this place, it is a good spot to enjoy your coffee and work quietly. I found very interesting that they sell the same coffee beans they use in their beverages, freshly roasted and packed. However, I’d did not really enjoyed my coffee, for a pour over. I was expecting something more extraordinary, such as noticeable flavors and notes as well as the touch of the roast master, but that didn’t happen.

Had the pour over coffee which was very good. They have a large menu of cold brew drinks with cream and spices. My companion had one with cinnamon that was delicious but rich. They were very busy at 8am on a Saturday but they have a quiet room next door to hang out.

Tasty coffee and good, affordable eats. All locally roasted. Cold brew nitro shouldn’t be served with ice though.

One of my favorite places in San Diego for a coffee. Delicious coffees (including some unusual drinks. "The Turk" iced is perfect on a warm day). Great friendly staff. The only thing I hate is their limited opening hours, but my annoyance with that is testament to how much I love them. I'd happily make this place 24hrs if I could!

Really you're everyday corner coffee shop. The staff were super friendly and are implementing the covid regulations for sure. You can walk in order and wait outside. There are some seats out there so its pretty cool. They specialize in pour over coffee so I highly recommend to step out of the normal and try something different.
We ordered the a pour over with a splash of almond milk. Man was it delicious. I believe it was a southern mexican bean. Can't remember the name. But they rotate as they should be. We also got a vanilla iced latte and that was super yummy. It hit the spot while walking around the city.

Cute little coffee shop with great food! We did wait a bit for our food, but it’s small, so just be prepared if you are in a rush with a larger group (we had 6 people) all ordering sandwiches. We sat outside and it was great- will for sure be back when in San Diego !

I was craving a chai latte and this happens to be two blocks from my apartment. I try to buy local before going to a chain coffee shop but it's fair to say I wont be coming back. The latte was ok, the breakfast sando was ok. When I got there my sando was ready, coffee was not. I waited outside for around 5-8 mins. While I was waiting I saw the barista preparing a coffee but there's no way for me to know it was mine. They didn't yell out a name. There were three employees and one bothered to ask me if I was waiting for something, but they sure talked amongst themselves and while looking right at me. Will walk to Starbucks next time cause honestly, you cant beat consistency in service and taste of drinks. What a shame.

Some of the best coffee in San Diego! I went here recently when a friend discovered this gem, I swear the beans have something magical going on.. or I've never had coffee this fresh! What a unique flavor profile. I definitely recommend this coffee shop to coffee aficionados!

Achilles Coffee Roasters is a great example of the perfect weather in San Diego. It's a permanent outdoor coffee stand in downtown San Diego. Since it's at the bottom of an office building, it's a little hard to notice so make sure you have the address.
The staff are friendly and they quickly make your coffee in the morning so you can be on your way. They sell pastries and any type of coffee you want. I ordered a large latte and it comes with four shots in it (one of the strongest lattes I've had!). They have cream and sugar if you need to doctor it up.
They cater to the downtown on-the-go crowd, but there are several outdoor tables if you want to stay awhile and sip on your strong coffee. Why not? The weather is always perfect in San Diego!
