I ordered one of their Concoctions called The Finest City which has vanilla and cinnamon. It was hot out, so I ordered it iced. The flavor profile was slightly (read: not very, in a good way) sweet and very creamy. A tad too creamy for my tastes; I think I'd order a cold brew next time. But it exuded quality.

Coffee was good, but the food was not. The meat in the sandwich was a bit dry and they put wayy too much jam in it to the point where it's basically a dessert and not a savory sandwich anymore. Employees were friendly though.

The ladies who were working the day I visited were very sweet and accommodating. They recommended the Berry Tea and it was delicious, I ordered two.

Delish coffee roasted a few blocks away right in downtown SD. Nice outdoor space including umbrellas for those too-sunny days. Pets welcome.
Staff mostly pleasant. Waits can be long at peak times (mornings ....) They have a nice selection of pastries including my fave a gluten-free pistachio cakelette.
Smells like bacon when I walked over today tempting me .... a few breakfast and lunch options.
Fair prices. Nice place to sit and watch downtown walk by

Decent coffee but rude barista and poor service. Took 15 minutes give or take to make a pour over covfefe that was already lukewarm when served (of course I let it cool down to taste it better, but it should be served hot). I inquired about the restroom (I really, really needed to pee) and the barista told me with a smirk and with no apologies that it was out of order (the sign on the door looks rather permanent, so I'm not so sure it's true). I was embarrassed for them as they didn't apologize nor offer to let me use the employees restroom. I didn't ask to not be rude myself. After asking if she knew if there were any bathrooms in the area, the barista was unhelpful nor sympathetic to my issue. Had to go around the block hunting for a restroom and found one in a hotel nearby they let me use and came back 5-10 minutes later with the covfefe I ordered still not ready (had to wait 5 more minutes at least, although generally it takes 5 minutes max for a pour over with Chemex of V60, including the manual grinding of the beans). Also, they don't have wi-fi, which is borderline criminal for a coffee place. I doubt I will come back.

This is a gem of a place! Delicious coffee which they roast themselves - I recommend the dark roast. They can also make fancy coffee drinks like lattes and such, and I overheard another customer raving about the latte art. They also have a robust breakfast/lunch menu with a wide variety of sandwiches. We went two days in a row and I can attest the lox is good, and the sandwiches on the pretzel buns are tasty - try the fig jam! They are also dog-friendly, allowing dogs in the shop with treats at the counter. Highly recommend!

Delicious breakfast sandwich, nitro brew was good too but would recommend getting it without ice.

Staying downtown in San Diego. Was looking for a healthy breakfast and great coffee and found it right across the road from my hotel! Totally cool staff and real barista coffee.

Pretty decent almond milk latte, although not my favorite ever
