Zebra House Coffee

My husband and I just happened to find this place by chance. We were on our way to Oceanside when we made the decision to fill our craving for coffee. We could have gone to any large franchised company, such as Starbucks, but we wanted to be adventurous and try something new. We went inside for a quick look around, but couldn't stand the overwhelming smell of coffee and tea. My husband and I have very sensitive noses, so it's not necessarily a deal breaker for us. We only came for the coffee. Luckily they had a drive thru. I couldn't decide what to pick, so I just felt the need to order from the Drip of the Day and hoped it would be a good one. I believe it was the Blue Moon medium roast coffee. I took it with sugar and I was blown away by the flavor. I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but I think I'm more than capable of knowing the difference between tasty coffee and the stuff you squeeze out of a syrup bottle. My husband also loved his Chai Latte. I tried some of his and agreed that it had a lighter taste to it compared to the stuff you get from Starbucks. Great coffee and will definitely get more the next time we are in the area.

I enjoy the simple honesty, the fact that there’s a drive-through, and even more then I can sit outside and enjoy the ocean air. The flavor of the drip coffee can be bold or mild… But you have to try the mocha with the whip cream....my god you get heaven

A great morning spot for coffee. I'm a fan of the golden pecan and the bagels. They open at 6 am, they get quite a bit of drive thru traffic. I like to go in and check out the changing art inside. Head over and get some good Joe at a nice local spot.

Great tasting Americano and key lime poppy seed muffin! We got it to go and headed across the street to the beach to watch the surfers. Looking forward to coming back to Zebra house. Its a great local coffee shop!

Fun decor, good coffee only bummer is wifi has a two hour limit.

Delicious drinks with non dairy alternatives and vegan chocolate chip muffins. Best friendly service. Very welcoming location to hang out in to catch up on emails / work.

I was a 2 year loyal customer, until today. $8.75 for a seasonal latte is exuberant. No thank you, forever.

I ordered a Cappuccino and received a Cappuccino with a wonderful dollup of foam, not a Latte.
The beans were had nicely ballanced citric and nutty flavors, a great cup.

I never knew a cafe latte could look so good or taste so very delicious. There is care, and craftsmanship in here. It's ALL GOOD! The locals use the drive-thru service. Surprised the Zebra House has such a short period on the Summer (in-season) weekends while SBUK is open until 2200. Seems the place should stay open until at least sunset. This place could also serve cold brewed since anyone who returns here obviously appreciates properly prepared coffees. This is a favorite.

Awesome coffee joint. Way better than that other place that shall not be mentioned. Baked goods and sandwiches all at affordable prices. Cute, quaint combination of cafe style and living room furniture. Helpful, cordial staff. Anyone who passes this place up to go to...well... that other place, leads a mediocre life.
