Zebra House Coffee

We’ve been coming here weekly since the beginning of 2021. We’re so impressed that all the staff wear their masks correctly. I’ve gone inside once, we usually order at the drive-thru window, and sometimes someone comes outside to help take orders. We recommend the (1) iced matcha latte or (2) toasted marshmallow WCM, and they have non-dairy milk options. It’s so delicious with the almond milk. Food faves : (1) sunrise bagel - substitute the cream cheese with avocado and (2) deluxe bagel comes with eggs/cheese/tomato and we add bacon on Asiago bagel. They have great salads and sandwiches, too! So yes, Coffee/Tea is excellent and so is their food! Go inside and check out their merch, if you have some time.

Nice place. Looked for something gf. Few gf muffins, my son, 7 years old, didn't like them.. 😕. Lox sandwiche was perfect. Good coffee. Nice interior.

Cash only! Stopped by here on a drive from LA to SD. I heard people raving about the gluten free muffins but I didn't get to try one myself. They were free baked though and did look tempting. A drive thru is available if you're in a rush but it's usually faster if you just park and go inside.

Ok update after a few missteps. Originally I gave this place a 1 star because they didn't take credit card. Then I upgraded them to a 3 star once they started to take it. The people are nice and it's a cute place but whenever I go in here to work on my computer the AC is blasting. I think the employees get hot behind the bar a d turn it on but it's not comfortable for patrons.

I had to run to Ralph's and was so happy to hear the live music and excitement bellowing from the cafe tonight so we popped in for the delicious coffee. Glad to be able to enjoy such an eclectic place. We will be back for gluten free muffins in the morning!

Drinks were tasty, the pineapple coconut muffin was okay, but the speed of the sandwich assembly line was atrociously slow. When we finally got our deluxe bagel, it was missing key ingredients. If not for the fact that the cashier did not argue when I asked for a refund, this place would get a 1.

Fantastic quirky coffee shop just outside the main downtown area. The coffee here is legendary for good reason. If you think Starbucks is burned and others are just wet beans, then come here. I judge coffee with a black Americano--no sweetener, no creamer, just bold flavor. This is a five-star winner.

First time here. A prime example of why I LOVE San Clemente!! Everyone is so nice! Zebra House was no exception AND, the coffee, is top notch. I will definitely make this a necessary stop for future trips to one of my favorite little beach towns!

Great drinks and muffin with lots of options. Spelled and told the guy at window counter my name, he said they will call my name and still said he is not good at spelling and pronouncing people's name. Strange. Didn't I just provided the info. Also, isn't tip supposed to be something that customers provided if they wanted to. Before the guy charged my card, he asked, do you want to provide 15% tip. Another strange 🤔 thing coming out from that guy's mouth.

Super cute place, totally chill and laid back vibe. The girl at counter was super sweet and helped us out with how parking was by the beach and location of the pier!!! Totally worth the stop! Thanks Zebra Coffee Shop for pleasant experience!
