Bear Coast Coffee

This is definitely the best coffee I've had in Southern California. Definitely a 5/5 place. The chai too is phenomenal. Also, being a Portlander, I love seeing Heart Coffee represented.

I hit just about every specialty coffee shop from Santa Monica to Mission Beach, this espresso was the best I had on this trip, and you couldn't ask for a better setting.

My 1st visit to this great place. Their chia seed pudding is so yummy! And you can't beat the view.

Stumbled upon this coffee shop yesterday evening as it was conveniently located near the San Clemente pier. I decided it sounded nice to order a hot coffee (to warm me up with the cold weather).

I was very unimpressed with the entire experience- I ended up ordering a Caramel latte with almond milk which was $7 ($6 + tip). When you're spending $7 on a coffee, you expect it to be pretty good. The coffee itself was 'okay' but the customer service was terrible. The barista called the drink out with no lid so I asked for one as I was taking it to go- she snarkily said "it's behind you" while rolling her eyes. I don't know what's so frustrating about a customer asking for a lid but it was a very unpleasant experience. I'll definitely take my business elsewhere next time.
