This is definitely the best coffee I've had in Southern California. Definitely a 5/5 place. The chai too is phenomenal. Also, being a Portlander, I love seeing Heart Coffee represented.

I hit just about every specialty coffee shop from Santa Monica to Mission Beach, this espresso was the best I had on this trip, and you couldn't ask for a better setting.

Nice location on the beach
Busy shop
Baristas brisk at work
Coffee I ordered double espresso tasted sour.
My daughter reminds me again it is difficult to get nutty tasting strong coffee in the US☝️
I am impressed with shop having a separate entry door for people on wheel chairs👏
There a bell push for them to open the door too 😊Gr8 care 🙌
Rest room is common for all and fairly clean ☝️
Wonder why I didn’t give 5 ⭐️?
Here is why 👇
No good variety of pastries to choose from 😞
And also not everyone wore masks
Yet again I didn’t see hand sanitizer anywhere around 🤔

My 1st visit to this great place. Their chia seed pudding is so yummy! And you can't beat the view.

Oceanfront modern coffee bar playing hip beats, serving tasty coffee and good pastries.

Super lovely staff. Great location right across the pier. The breakfast bowl is amazing and only $5!

Love this little place! ... We drive quite a ways to get that lavender latte!

Stumbled upon this coffee shop yesterday evening as it was conveniently located near the San Clemente pier. I decided it sounded nice to order a hot coffee (to warm me up with the cold weather).
I was very unimpressed with the entire experience- I ended up ordering a Caramel latte with almond milk which was $7 ($6 + tip). When you're spending $7 on a coffee, you expect it to be pretty good. The coffee itself was 'okay' but the customer service was terrible. The barista called the drink out with no lid so I asked for one as I was taking it to go- she snarkily said "it's behind you" while rolling her eyes. I don't know what's so frustrating about a customer asking for a lid but it was a very unpleasant experience. I'll definitely take my business elsewhere next time.
