Husband travels through Sacremento often and said this was a must stop.

Delicious coffee and best grilled cheeses you will ever eat. We had the Bay Area Brisket and the Cheesy Italian, and both were top notch. Even chatted with the owner for a while. Amazing food and great atmosphere, and Angel was a fantastic batista.

Perfect place to satisfy your grilled cheese cravings 🤤 Amazing coffee too. Can't wait to come back when it's warmer to enjoy the patio!

Delicious as always. I travel alot and every time I'm in Sacramento I make it a point to stop by here for a sandwich and a coffee. The owner is doing everything right and keeps the quality consistent and the staff do just as much. I'll be back!

A delicious taste adventure! Their grilled cheese sandwiches are no joke. Every bite of their Capital Sunrise grilled cheese is rewarded with a satisfying crunch, immediately followed by a rush of flavors. Warm, fluffy eggs accompany bacon inside this breakfast grilled cheese. We were lucky to be in the area and try.

Truly the best grilled cheese I've had in this area.

Chic little spot with indoor and 2 differe t outdoor seating areas off Del Paso Blvd. Street parking along Del Paso Blvd. Next door to an Art Gallery.

If you are inpatient or in a hurry, this place is not for you. It's not starbucks. They take their time in their craft. If you order a sandwich, be prepared to wait.

The bread of the grilled cheese sandwiches are nice and buttery yet crispy. If you don't greasy cheesy goodness, it's not for you.

I got an iced Tokyo Tea and it was great and refreshing. Has a hint of lavender that didn't overpower the jasmine green tea. It blended and complimented it nicely.

I got the bay area brisket and my wife got the hot as hell sandwich (it's not actually spicy in our opinion). Both were delicious. The tomato soup was delicious and went well with the sandwich.

I came in there on the rainy Thursday. I found the place no problem! Great location! The place is my kind of decor, race theme with car parts, books, wall art and a crazy looking motorcycle in the front! Place is clean the staff was very helpful and very nice! She recommended the sandwich and it was so delicious and filling! The drip coffee was also very good! I like the medium roast! And this batch was amazing! Thank you very much shift coffee house! I came from Jersey and found this place on google because of good reviews! God Bless this place and staff!
