This place is a home away from home for most of my friends and I. Cozy couches, great back patio, great coffee, cool baristas. There's nothing like it anywhere. Plus there's always a show or an open mic or some cool art to check out.

Great coffee and friendly staff. Come and see the very special decor.

I don't like that it's only cash here. I understand the fees associated with cards or rent being significant. On a longevity perspective i don't think cash only is innovative at all.

Great local coffee shop! We were very impressed with the layout and artsy/library feel! Plays jazz music to make it even more comfortable!! We will definitely make Back to the Grind a must see/go-to for us!

Decided to go here as my bus was running late, they are very quick to getting your order so if you're in a rush it's a great spot to quickly grab and go! The menu that's listed on Google is inaccurate however. I got the C. Smoothie and it says 4.75 for smoothies but when I got there it was 5.75 and 50¢ for additives. They charged me the 50¢ for adding strawberry flavoring because there wasn't any raspberry (which felt weird but I'm not gonna argue or complain it's 50¢)
Over all it's a very relaxing chill enviorment. The employees are very friendly too!

I always love stopping by when I am in downtown Riverside. I been coming here since I first started college so this place , for me,feels nostalgic. I just want to say this is a great place to come! I love what back to the grind is doing for the community and I support them. They offer yoga and AA meetings which is encouraging health and wellness in the community. They also have open mic night which is a great outlet to allow others to share their talents and express themselves. They offer so much more to the community than any other coffee shop I know. Also the environment is the best and cannot be Imitated. Very unique original and comfortable!
Also please add that matcha green tea to the menu because it is so good!

There's nothing like a good coffee house, and Back to the Grind is nearly perfect.
