Slow down, be patient. Coffee was good but there were only two employees in the booth and it took a while, 20 minutes for three cars, two coffee's each, mine was the third. Drive thru should somehow be quicker.

I am always nervous to veer off and try new coffee places, I like strong coffee- no sweeteners or frills so a lot of the chains and even some of the more local places I have tried in and around Redding have really fallen short in impressing me so I was surprised when Java Detour delivered me a really great quality cup of joe! Don’t be afraid to ask for a more custom order (adding almond milk, alternative sweeteners, etc) as they are very accommodating. This will be my go-to coffee stop when I’m in Redding, I really appreciate the good roast and taste of their coffee.

Java Detour made my custom drink that I can't get anyone else to make correctly in the first try, and they did it quickly! the prices are good for coffee shops, and the atmosphere was friendly and upbeat! what I could see of the shop was clean and the personel were well kept in appearance. this is a shop I will definitely be returning to for my Rockstar drinks and the rockin' employees. great job ladies, keep up the good work!

Always great service from the gals in morning, just miss the guys who used to work their. Always smiling an joking with customers. So go ahead try them you won't be dissatisfied 👍

Their brewed coffee was hugely disappointing. It was too strong and bitter. I am an advocate of small business but it’s coffee and really hard to mess up.

The staff is AWESOME!! They take good care to make your drink the way you want it and if it's wrong they make it right! I love them and the coffee!! FYI! KOLBY IS THE MAN!!

Best customer service, coffee, great staff who remember what we like. We have been going here about 3 times a week for years. Always excellent service.

It was gud, redid the branding and everything so should update that on here. Dont worry if you saw my picture. I took it while a passenger and I was quick about it too!

This place has the best fraps in town hands down ! Good priced ,nice staff they even have happy hour where all fraps are only 4.50 the white butterfinger is a must try
