Got their Almond milk with chocolate was very good a little bit on the too chocolaty side but overall good barista was lively and very helpful definitely a great coffee shop to go too with a great variety recommend it above dutch bros for sure

They may as well hire a bunch of sloths. This is the slowest coffee shop I have ever been to. I figured I would try it one more time after a bad experience, came back, waited 20 minutes for one car in front of me and my drink was messed up. I came back again because they gave me a free drink ticket and again sat and waited, this time it was almost a half hour with one person in front of me! They don’t apologize for the delay or anything. Horrible customer service, the owners should be ashamed!

Lovely little coffee stand. But there is so much more than coffee. There are frozen drinks, treats and food. Big breakfast menu which looks delicious. Staff were quick and friendly. No issues encountered. I would highly recommend this establishment. Cheers. Oh yeah, excellent Coffee!!.

Stopped by on our way home, staff was great, very friendly and efficient. Coffee and muffin was great. Definitely will come again.

I finally decided to try Java Detour after living in Redding for over 4 years. I was very impressed! They have a huge selection with flavors I never knew I needed, like butterfinger and Reese’s fraps. I tried the butterfinger and tried the watermelon cucumber mint refresher. Both were AMAZING! The refresher was 100 times better than Starbucks refreshers and came sparkling. So beyond delicious. The sizes are also huge for the price. Much cheaper than I expected. I will definitely be frequenting this place.

Love coming here for my morning red bull 🤗 Everyone that works here is super sweet and always remembers my order!. I also would say they have the best flavor red bulls out of all the options in Redding.

Came here this morning for a bagel and some coffee... The service is awful. Customer service is such a huge deal especially in this kind of industry. The young lady with the black hair I believe to be newer, was awful and bitter. Seems as if she is not happy working there? I felt like a "burden" ordering my drink. I like to support small business but i guess I will stick to Starbucks or Dutch Bros.

Always delicious. I definitely recommend Java Detour. Even If it isn't on the menu they will make it anyway. These guys have expert taste guessing abilities...I just made that up. Because they ARE THAT GOOD!

The coffee here is sub-par, the drive thru times are generally pretty lengthy and overall the customer service can be lacking.

Today, a barista was pretty rude and refused to make food- because it was basically 1’o clock and she claimed her food station was shut down. Just pretty disappointing. Went to Manhattan Bagel and purchased food and coffee from there instead.
