Beachin’ Biscuits

Food was delicious!! Self order. Seating, 1st come only. Front desk help needed to be way more friendly. No greeting, just takes orders.
Must visit though

Wow! So good! I went twice in the week I was there and was trying to fit in a third time but couldn't swing it. It was that good. They actually understand the proper gravy to biscuit ratio.

I ordered on Doordash the sunrise tacos with bacon, and the boardwalk bites. My order was correct and quick. Onions, bell peppers, crunchy flavorful bacon chunks, potatoes and cheese. Man, these tacos would be enough to feed two people I think. A generous helping of salsa was included which brought a welcome acidity and heat to the super-savory tacos.

The boardwalk bites are reminiscent of a cinnamon roll, or maybe the cinnamon bites you might get at a pizza place. I can imagine snacking on them while walking along the pier on a foggy morning. The were pretty good, nice and buttery, but with these portions it was definitely too much food for one person. Luckily, I think for dinner I'll fry up the taco filling and make a breakfast burrito. And I can microwave the leftover boardwalk bites for dessert!

I will say, previously I was disappointed at the amount of disposable plastic they gave me. Due to the limited seating, I imagine most of their food is eaten at the beach which could mean a lot of waste right in our ocean. This time my order was in much more beach-friendly packaging of cardboard and paper. I hope they continue to lean into these habits as a business that owes so much to the beautiful beach ecosystem nearby.

Eh. Ok food. Long waits. Granted it was Sunday morning that we visited. But after all the rave reviews and long wait I anticipated the food to be amazing. The biscuits were a little dry and cold. The potatoes were super salty. Homemade strawberry jam and honey butter were yummy. My son loved the boardwalk bites. Maybe they just can’t keep up with the demand. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The biscuits were doughy in the middle, definitely the best biscuits around!!

Every time we visit Pismo we get breakfast here. They're amazing. But do yourself a favor and order ahead from their website. There's always a wait.

I’m from the South and these are the BEST biscuits I’ve EVER had, hands down. Call the day before to order more than 4 biscuits and get at least one large gravy. Delicious for mornings to come!!

Best breakfast in town!

Best breakfast taco ever!!! The only problem is they are sooo far away for me!

Stopped in for a late little breakfast before heading to the pismo preserve and we were not disappointed.

I had the totally beachin sammie, the little had a biscuit with strawberry jam (which is AMAZING). I also ordered their vanilla chai ☕️. Staff was friendly and we will be repeat customers.
