Beachin’ Biscuits

If you want an EARLY breakfast, this is the best spot in Pismo. I like the burritos the most! This is also one of the quickest spots to get breakfast in Pismo

Tried to call in to pick up order, after 20 minutes I just gave up and drove out to the restaurant. The biscuit was just OK, the potatoes were literally dried out, like they had been microwaved multiple times. The sausage was overcooked. The saving grace was the gravy, it was delicious!

Great food.

The staff was not friendly. I put in an online order at 10:26am. I received an email stating that the order would be ready for a pick up time of 11:01am. I arrived and at 11:01 I inquired at the pick up window regarding my order and I was met by an employee stating that my order had no been started yet.

At 11:32 I went back to inquire regarding my order and was met with a rude answer from an employee about the order will be ready when they start it. There were other patrons who had received their orders before I did and had walked up to the window after I have arrived.

Please employ adults here. It is evident that there is no sense of urgency when it comes to service and or courtesy. Been coming here for awhile and this is the first time this has occurred.

As I am sitting here writing this review there is someone raising their voice at the counter regarding the 1 hour and 15 min wait time. The staff has no empathy regarding customer concerns. There seems to be no protocol for escalated clients. I do love the pismo pier.

Very small place only a few tables and a counter to sit at. No reservations and the wait is long on weekend mornings. So we decided to do takeout and the biscuits are worth all the praise they get the menu is very minimal with a few biscuit sandwiches and a few egg entrees. The egg hash looked very good. We got half a dozen biscuits and the egg and cheese biscuit sandwich.
Service was prompt and friendly .
Parking is street
Go for the great biscuits but do take out if the wait is too long.

The gnarly biscuit is.. gnarly. And tasty and quick! Definitely get it to split and plan a walk afterwards because you’re going to need it. Seating is a bit limited - but walk it down to the beach so you can enjoy it with a view!

Excellent food, and vibe! Great location! This place features spicy sausage biscuits and gravy! Should not be missed! I don't know if Covid played a factor but twice something was handed to me in complete. Most folks might use cream in coffee. Most folks eat with utensils. Why not ask or include without asking? Maybe its normally our doing and this stuff was moved to kitchen? In any event, don't make a customer ask for something we might not think about when in line the first time. Two less stars for that.

EDIT: okay, after some time, I think the reason they forgot a few things is because they are accustomed to putting the items I mention outside in our area. Due to Covid, they moved it behind the counter. Since they are "not accustomed" to including them, they must have forgot. Just my bad luck, but still a bit frustrating.

Food was amazing. Worth the wait time

Met an amazing server/ hostess her name was Ashly I presume. She informed us that the waiting time for our food would be longer and yet took her time to explain the menu to us. Our food came out earlier than expected and was delicious.

A waiste of time and quite annoying to say the least. They said 35 minute wait, that was a lie we waited 1 hour and 15 minutes while people after us were being served right after they ordered. I guess this is what you get when you have a place ran by a bunch of teenagers who are more concerned about filling their friends orders and hanging out in the kitchen. All this for a mediocre breakfast burrito. And to sit there and argue about a wait time with a customer without even being there, is just childish. If you didn't want a bad review, it would be best to complete the orders in order as you receive them.
