Verve Coffee Roasters

This is a great coffee shop but they need better staff training. I ordered pour overs on two separate visits, one came out on a board with a small carafe, the other was half splashed out of a coffee mug and the remainder of the pour over carafe was tossed down the drain.

The place looks nice and while it was busy they are supposed to have decent coffee. Isn't that what Verve used to be known for after all? Service is another question! I dislike the taste of coffee from paper cups, I asked for a dine-in espresso in a glass, minutes later my $6 single origin espresso comes out in a paper cup. When I asked for the glass again I was told that they don't serve in a glass anymore because they were understaffed. And that all after I specifically asked for a glass in a first place. At that time I counted five employees at the place. I am sorry but even though the coffee at Verve is good, it is not only the coffee that makes the whole experience and without good service even the best coffee would leave a bitter taste. @Verve you could do better than that!

New place, just opened in 2019 but already got some place in the hearts of locals.

Love their avocado toast.

Prices for tea are too high. But you can refill twice in an hour.

A lot of people use it as working space.

Pro tip: there is an power socket outside to charge your gadgets.

Heard about this cafe and was disappointed The ambience was good , service was ok . We ordered ,Macchiato ( Espresso with dash frothy steamed milk ), Cappuccino, and Parmesan scone
The flavour and taste of Macchiato and cappuccino was same. The difference is a macchiato usually has a larger portion of espresso to milk. As such, the taste of the coffee is much more prominent than a cappuccino, which not only has milk but steamed milk on the top as well.
I could not differentiate them what they served and the scone was tasting good

Drinks were great. Had a latte, perfect foam. The ambiance was fine. Some tables are communal, which is fine by me.
The lines were way too long.

Great espresso. Person taking orders forgot my food. I waited about ten minutes and then went back to the counter. He said he didn’t even remember taking my order.

Lovely little spot that is perfect for a proper cup of coffee (they’ll give you seltzer water with your macchiato) and some nice natural light and feee WiFi.

Terrible coffee. Rude bunch of people starting from manager. Go to Philz down the road if tin want to enjoy your cup and warm personalities.

Super delicious nitro cold brew here. Great, modern and clean ambiance with both ample indoor and outdoor seating. They also give you a solid 12oz of iced coffee as opposed to most Bay Area coffee shops that give you basically a mouthwash cup of coffee (I.e. Blue Bottle) for $6

They have the best coffee hands down. So glad I was introduced to this place
