2 star for experience So we have been to the hive 4 times. The first two were disappointing.....we waited a year before trying again... the 3rd time was amazing so we were excited to have it again. 80.00 for 4 burgers and they only got one right. Gave us completely the wrong burgers not to mention wrong toppings. 100% will not go again.

5 star for Mindys response to our issue. The manager Mindy called and wanted to make sure this never happened again. She was truly amazing. She provided desserts and a gift certificate to try again. Will give it another shot. Hope it will be a repeat of or 3rd trip.

Would like to give 5 stars but I will tell you why I didn’t.. the food tasted delicious and decor and vibe was attractive.. My wife ordered the French toast served “with strawberries” which turned out to mean it have only 1/2 of a strawberry on top of two pieces of French toast. I felt like that was a bit of false advertising. I ordered the biscuits and gravy for $18 which tasted delicious but it was only 1 biscuit which is only a half order according to other restaurants. For $18 I was disappointed it wasn’t a full order. Overall I would probably go back but for spending $40-$50 it seemed like the serving proportions were too small.

Beat oatmeal ever - it’s all about the toppings - fresh blueberries, bananas and strawberries all drizzled with some delicious honey - there’s also a layer of granola which gives it some nice texture - my wife had the breakfast croissant and loved it - the place is super cute, well taken care of and the people are warm, friendly and attentive

Had a very bad experience the last time I was there. Decided to give it a second shot today, and was disappointed in the customer service from the front hostess. Our server was great this time around and food as well, but I DO NOT APPRECIATE THE RUDE ATTITUDE FROM THE BLONDE HOSTESS WITH GLASSES. I arrived 15 mins early for my reservation and politely asked her if we may be seated outside (knowing my party would feel more comfortable) and she very rudely said it was too late. I asked the hostess to please show us where the restroom was and she stopped in front of me to tell a server, that I previously had a bad experience with the last time I went “not for you” as in don’t worry we weren’t seated in her area. This type of customer service is rude, and unprofessional. She should have not said that in front of a customer. I work in a restaurant and I understand these things happen but that behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional.

Great place, good service, and delicious food.

Great food as usual. Waitress didn't really know the menu and when she did, she talked down to you on certain entrées. She had ro explain my shrimp scampi and rice dish. I write a food column for a magazine. I know what certain food dishes are and if I don't I google them before I order them. I am always looking for something new.

Service was extremely slow, new room was super loud, no thought of table placement was made in the design.

No air conditioning, floor fans going. Only reason I stayed is I wanted to try the scampi dish.

I should rate this lower, but the food was good. I still will not place this eatery in my column. They still need tons of work.

Plain and simple The Hive is AMAZING!
I hosted a bridal shower here for my “Bride to Bee” and it could not have been more perfect.
We used the upstairs space offered at the restaurant for a few hours and it was ideal for a celebration! The staff were so accommodating and willing to help with anything we needed. The food served was delicious, the fruit cups and lemon squares had us going back for seconds!
Would highly recommend having your showers and gatherings here!

Thank you, Mike. We have been driving all day to the North and needed a good meal. We weren't sure with some reviews but saw they really answered everyone in reviews. When we got here there was a huge event party that really consumed the hostesses and kitchen. We weren't sure we would be served but we feel the girls did their best to get us a table with an hour wait we were told. We were just so tired and hungry. Then we got Mike the bar guy. We got their cobb salad to get food quickly before our burger. Mike made sure we head their hot fresh bread and were attended hell or high water. If it weren't for Mike we don't believe our night would be as peaceful and relaxing as it was. We will be back but we will always look for Mike as our highlight.
PS the food was great! But Mike what will bring us back!

Super cute restaurant! Cool concept. Unfortunately, my $46 rib eye was so tough I couldn’t chew it. It was seriously, seriously bad, chewy steak. I asked for medium rare, and it came out rare- which I like, but didn’t want because I was sharing. My roasted carrots were so raw and crunchy that they were difficult to cut through with a steak knife. The calamari tasted like floury batter, no seasoning or squid taste. Ribs were so dry my partner was coughing throughout dinner. :/ the thing is, the flavor was there for everything- execution was just terrible. And for the price? I am so, so sad that we spent $150 for two entrees, an app and two drinks on food we couldn’t even eat. It’s almost like someone had a recipe that they followed with good seasoning and such but they didn’t know how to cook, so taste was good but food was just cooked terrible. Maybe brunch is good here? I don’t know, but considering we drove over an hour just to come eat here, we won’t be back. Expensive mistake.
