The Federal Bar

went here on a sat night, wasn't to packed. the vibe was really nice and the staff was so lovely. The portions sizes are great! they close at 12 but they are not rude about it. They let us know that they closed at 12 and if we still wanted to hang out they have an upstairs bat that is open till 2. I thought that was really nice of them to mention. you should definitely go here I cant see anything wrong with it! thank you guys for the lovely service

Got the OMH Habanero burger, Deviled eggs along with a Oaxacan Jam drink. So the drink, Oaxacan Jam is deceiving... despite the soft pink color, there's nothing mellow about it. It's very bold, smokey, and the tequila kicks. Definitely not for everyone. The OMH burger was bomb & huge, even when I smushed it as much as possible, I struggled to bite in. I got it medium rare & It was delicious, but it wasn't spicy at all. The burger and fries both were seasoned well & had yummy flavor. The Deviled eggs were great too, lots of flavor & cooked well. There's seating inside and parking in the back lot (valet) or street parking. The waitress was nice and prices are fair for the portions. I believe they have a ance club upstairs too so you can hang out at the bar or go up.

This was my first time visiting and I really enjoyed the vibe. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. And on this evening when we visited there was a live comedy show. I dined in with my fiancee. We shared the buffalo style cauliflower as a starter, while I had their short rib, and my fiancee had the lamb chops. The dishes were alright. I really liked my short rib, however the lamb chops were a bit smaller than my fiancee was expecting and she felt they lacked some seasoning. Overall the service was nice, our plates were served promptly and hot and we had a pleasant evening.

The bartender was awesome and friendly. Thank you for the soda and the smiles. I added some pics of stuff near there as well. Hope to have a reason to go back. Nice little place off the beaten path.

Had kind of a weird experience at The Federal Bar.

Visited there a little after 2pm on a Wednesday. When we got there, the bar tender seemed kind of annoyed. Told us to sit anywhere. We picked a booth by the window. We then sat there for about 10 minutes before anyone came over to take a drink order. We were about to leave when our server finally came over with some waters, and was about to run off again before we called him back so we could order some drinks.

We got our drink orders in, and then a little later on ordered food.

I think the waiter was just busy with other things, but once he got his tasks in order he was very attentive and had great suggestions on the drinks and food. The burger and cocktail I had were fantastic.

The weird part of our visit was that at one point as we were sitting there enjoying our food and beverages, a guy from the bar, not an employee, but a patron, came over to our table and said the bar tender asked him to check on us. To see if we needed anything. We asked why the bar tender couldn't have done that and he said because she was busy.

We just told the guy we were good, finished our drinks and meals and got the check.

Still not sure who that guy was or why an employee would ask a customer to check on other customers.

Otherwise, the food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, and the environment was really cool.

New menu as of December 26 and everything was great. Tried the Burria Gyoza, Burger Sliders, and Crunchadilla. All very delicious and great for sharing. Had a couple cocktails which were mixed well and tasted great. Beer selection is nice too with a good variety, not just IPAs like some places. Staff was really friendly! One of my favs for a consistent & reliable experience.

Small place but fun vibe. I got the sliders and I'm still thinking about them days later. The bar is nice, The bartenders are nice and friendly.

Tara was so lovely. On a busy, beautiful Saturday, she was a ray of sunshine inside the high brick walls and windows of The Federal. Made ya feel special even as she was attending to several people and tasks at once. Thank you for your warmth as winter slowly fades into spring 🙏🏼🙌🏼

We had appetizers, so i didn't get a chance to taste their items on the menu. This venue is great for hosting private events with ample parking, a full bar, and a great staff. Located in the heart of NoHo arts district.

I’ve been going to The Federal for a couple of years now and I’ve never been disappointed. This last time I ordered the Tater-Totchos and was blown away by the size of the portion. It’s perfect for sharing and really tasty. Their veggie burger is great, as is their buffalo cauliflower (a favorite of mine). My husband is addicted to their chicken wings, because the buffalo sauce is infused with fennel.
