Top Dog Coffee Bar

Love this sweet place and their love of the fur babies.

The catchy bright yellow facade may pick your interest but the service & food will keep you coming back. Very nice people offering a selection of coffee and teas, breakfast & lunch. We stopped there for breakfast and enjoyed a hot turkey croissant sandwich & a Top Dog burrito with an iced mango chai and apple juice. Yummy for our tummies!

Top Dog is where I always go for coffee when I'm in Morro Bay. The atmosphere is magically attractive, the service and friendliness is outstanding, and you must see the outside patio seating in back. Cozy tables tucked in between lush flowering plants, an oasis of peacefulness!

This place has all the vibes. Lots of artwork, great music, outside area is whimsical nature area. Great coffee and great smoothies. Would love to come back someday.

I really enjoyed going to this coffee shop at first. Great ambience, dog-friendly patio, friendly owners and most employees. Not to mention really good food and coffee. But I stopped going because of the rudeness of one employee who couldn’t even be bothered to refill my water. After being a short-term regular at the shop, it seemed a small thing to ask the barista for a water refill. But the guy couldn’t even bothered. To the owners, be aware of who represents your shop. As much as I enjoy all of the other factors of your business, this kind of disregard and rudeness is a deal-breaker. Negative energy and disregard for customers is the fastest way to lose loyalty, even for a place that really does deserve it.

We were walking about while we were on vacation and decided to go in as we were hungry. It is a nice clean place there were quite a few people going in and out but we decided to sit in an ordered I had a Cortisone and my wife ordered a sandwich. The staff behind the counter was nice and cheerful and I food came out promptly. It was really good and when we are back in town we will definitely go and visit it again.

I love top dog... their lox bagel with a breve white mocha starts my day right. My girl always gets a shot in the dark and the turkey on croissant.. soooooo good. Dog friendly with an awesome garden seating area in the back. Never had anything I didn't like here, plus good beers on tap.

Quaint, friendly, relaxing dog friendly space with great foods and coffee menu. The patio is darling and comfortable with little birds waiting for dropped crumbs.

This is by far my favorite coffee place in Morro Bay. There is a wonderful patio in the back where dogs are welcome. I usually get espresso here, and it's the tastiest and smoothest espresso you can imagine. The one downside of this place is their pastries. They taste usually not freshly made (I've rarely had a crisp crust on top of their muffins), and the scones have been downright awful lately. Overall though, it is still my favorite coffee place in Morro Bay, period.
