This is a great place to grab a coffee, tea or craft beer from a local brewery. The employees were a great help when giving suggestions on what to order and knowledge of the beer. There is a peaceful garden in the back where you can enjoy company. It's a nice little break from the beach life only a few blocks away.

Had high expectations for the food and I still ended up impressed. Their mad max grilled cheese was fantastic.
Dog friendly inside.

A cafe with a cause is admirable. Coffee is good too. The coffee they sell goes towards a program that rehabilitates prisoners with PTSD by giving them an opportunity to train service dogs.

Such a happy cute cafe with a cause for the quick bites and delicious Cappuccino with interesting interiors and a restroom….

Great! Food and coffee were excellent. My pug was so welcome they gave him bacon this morning.

Love Top Dog and have been coming here for 12 years! My favorite is the breakfast wheat bagel with a hot cup of English Breakfast Tea and my husband loves the burrito. That burrito is SO big, he can only eat half. Even though I'm mainly a tea drinker, I LOVE the smell of coffee and if you love coffee, look no further..they have a great variety for every taste! You can relax and enjoy dining inside while admiring the dog portraits on the walls or outside on the garden. Either way, it's always a great spor to relax.

It is nice cozy cafe where you can enjoy your coffee in peace. When we went there around 9, it was busy but not very crowded at the café. We around their Ethiopian coffee blend, white chocolate mocha and croissants which met our expectations.

Such a great place! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Delicious Chai shot in the dark.

Espresso here is sooooo strong, they can’t seem to get the ratio of milk to coffee right for their lattes even after asking for extra milk, breakfast burrito was just ok the first time, over loaded with pepper the second time. Pepper + bitter coffee is not a great flavor combination. Really really not cool with super unfriendly employees that don’t seem to care one way or the other whether your food is good or you had a good/bad experience, especially considering their prices and the whole store concept based on animal rescue support. At $20 for coffee and a burrito, both lacking in quality ( under cooked beans, dry scrambled eggs, very little cheese, burnt potatoes, way too much pepper) this place was very disappointing. I couldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I sincerely hope they take this review seriously to put more quality control in place for food prep and customer service.

Very friendly place but terrible coffee- threw out my American after a few sips because it was so sour it was undrinkable. Probably a coffee with milk and sugar would be fine. Hot dog was okay. Pictures of dogs all over the walls were cheerful.
